Okay, the battle with the squid(?) looks really exciting! Did they make changes to the Isle of Refuge for the free trial?

    no they made no changed to the isle for the trial. in fact, i have a character on the isle of refuge specifically for helping new people and ive seen many many trial of the isle people on.

    I don't know if it is still true, but getting your crafting skills up was easy if you stayed on the Isle for a while. That may be a suggestion for the people you meet. image

    Hey Nihilanth, I just downloaded the Isle of refuge. What sever do you recommend for a gamer like? Im looking for a high population sever but im not really into RP. Also a sever with out an overinflated economy cause with work and hanging out with friends, I doubt I'll be able to spend more than 20 hours a week so farming gear is out of the question(unless its really goodimage). If all goes well ill pick up the full copy on my way home from work tomorrow image

     

    P.S. I singled you out cause you seem to know a lot about EQ2image

    I'd imagine he'll suggest Blackburrow, which I will second. I've had very good experiences on their so far (level 12 predator).

    yeah blackburrow is a good server. currently all of my characters are on it. its one of the largest servers in the game, and a benifit of that is low LFG times and when they update servers in groups, ours is always on the first group back up.

    ummm i d-loaded the free trial but...it said i needed a cd key and fileplanet was outta cd keys.

    I just downloaded and WOW the graphics, the gameplay are amazing i love it, but the problem is my brother downloaded it as well and we just found out a little bit ago that Geforce 4 MX users can't play it.
    So if you have that video card don't waste your time downloading.

    All my endings are waiting to begin.
