My thoughts on F2P or P2P

Okay, so this discussion rages on. My thoughts on the entire matter is it comes down to the balance of the game.
Lets say I play a game and its F2P the cash shop has nice items. Number 1 thing I'm going to look at the item Lvl and compare it too gear I can farm and get if this balance is wack You have a bad F2P game. I have no chance if my time can cannot produce the same lvl of gear, my 30+ STR to this 13 year old who stole hes mom Credit card with +60 at the same lvl, but in the same design if I can get +60 gear also at the same lvl via farm! F2P is way better.....
P2P is a standered you pay to play the fullest of the games continent be it small or huge you still pay that 14.99 a month. Games like WoW give you the bang games like Warhammer do not.... So P2P comes down to if the devolopers worked hard enough for it to deserve to be called P2P.
soo in my honest Opionion for a Video game F2P is better, very few MMO's deserve to be P2P.

Not sure what justifies yet another thread here.
Sounds like your idea of a great F2P game is one where there is no reason to spend any money. Sure, that's great for you. Just try not to enjoy it too much because it will be out of business next week.
there are plenty of games that are still around and its possible to get gear just as good as someone who buys it from a cash shop...ive done it, and yet that game has been around for like 3 years. But i guess in your mind F2p games never last long....gee i wonder why lol
in that utopic F2P game the developers will have implemented active measures that forbid you to ever get Cash Shop quality items for free. at most, something slightly worse...if you are lucky and they are unusually honest, and with that, i mean unusually as a 6-legged green dog....
in any case,that "slightly" worse gear will come wrapped up in an incredible amount of boring grind to obtain, that most likely will drive you out of the game, or make you think "heh, rather open my wallet cuz this is driving me insane"

F2P games are worse because they are of substandar quality...if there was ever a game of P2P quality, it would forcetroath their cash shop so much that it would be virtually P2P anyway

For me Mabinogi is. And a few others I've played are like that too. These are not gear-based mmo, with cash shop items tradable in-game. One person's reason to spend money isn't the same as the others.
So it has alot to do with your own choice of games. If you overspend on a game, it's your own fault. Just like those binge spenders in mall. Trying to pin the blame on Macy's isn't going to win much sympathy.
Too much entitlement and too little self-discipline and accountability. So typical of whinners at this site.
I have to agree with Hellmarauder. Unfortunately I'm one of those who occasionally runs amok in item shops(did this for STO and then uninstall a few weeks later..lol) or buys up all the DLC content or special promo stuff off ebay for some games. Damn you Red Dead Revolver!!! Fortunately it's just some games.
