My brother was raving about that book, and now curiosity has over come me: I must find out who moved this cheese the title speaks of.
They definitely take a lot of patience, but I think you'll enjoy yourself more while reading it if you try to stop thinking about the end.
Alas, that's difficult because the whole book is ABOUT reaching the the Dark Tower and ironically the series takes 7 enormous books to do so... but speaking as someone who has finished them all, if you take the time to enjoy the JOURNEY... you won't get that "I've been pwned by Stephen King" feeling at the end - trust me.
I'm reading "The Woad to Wuin" by Peter David, which is the 2nd book in the Sir Apropos of Nothing series. And I would suggest them both to anyone who likes fantasy and anti-heroes. ^_^

i had trouble reading those .... probably due to my lack of reading skillz
