     That's really all that matters.

That being said, jeebus, they keep updating this thing fast and furiously. If I could have found players who were interested in more (or would it be "less") than just zerging through these dungeons over and over (i.e., play as though it were Pen and Paper D&D just for the fun of it), I would be playing DDO right now instead of searching MMORPG.com for a game I want to play.

Less zerging and adding rich and meaningful crafting would make this my perfect game.

The zerging is the reason I can't get into it.

The players that zerg in DDO are the vets in the game rolling an alt and have ran waterworks too many times to care .

It's sad because it's totally kills the experience  for new players , best thing is to have a few good friends playing this game with you .

Just go register to NA DDO sites, you'll download the game fast, and the ping is quite good. I am from Finland and my ping is about 100-120 on the american servers, which is good!

I understand where you are coming from. I'm playing DDO at the moment and hate the zerging.

BUT... use the LFG tool and create your own group... in the comments say something like "go slow players only, no zerging, new players very welcome". I have done this and had some reasonably good groups.

Having said that, the best way to go through a dungeon able to appreciate it fully is to do it solo. This is perfectly possible most of the time, especially with the hirelings and different modes you can choose when you enter.

Overall, I'm really enjoying DDO now that I am playing a wizard. There are so many hyperactive DPS kids that I can sit back and let them do their thing while I CC/give buff/summon pets to make things go smoothly.

I've been playing this game since Alpha.  I DO play this game to explore, collect, turn in, and actually QUEST.  That's why it's taking me so long to advance. I'm mainly doing solo on some of these harder quests, and it's really tough, but I enjoy it because I have to think and figure stuff out.  If I could find others that played that way like my original guild, I'd be on so much more often.  As of now, it's just maybe 10 hours/week.
