Got in YAY!, sad news, going on vaca from july 13th to july 21st Wont be able to test it out until I get back
Btw, I didn't have a ps3 code attached to my application, and if you do its most likly for the PS3 Beta testing version. And I didn't sign up on day one.
But I am using a computer that is OLD (I signed up using my computer which is now 3 years old) But has a new mobo, cpu, and I added 1 gig of memory to it. Even so, I am guessing I got in to test just how LOW of specs this game can run on? (Although I can play almost ANY game still on medium settings)
Update 1: It’s been confirmed that 12,000 new testers were added in North America alone. That probably means 36,000 new testers were added world-wide today.
Update 2: Looks like another 8000 testers were added in NA. That makes 20,000 testers added today per region, or 60,000 total world-wide testers added just today.
Downloading the client but im going to miss a couple of days cos its taken a life time to do the update, has anyone got any ideas of how to make it go any faster, dl speeds is doing 0.0 to 30kb/s, i heard people talking about opening ports, but i dont know how to do any of that, all i know is how to play the games :P pm me if anyone could explain how to do that, thanks to anyone who trys to help and hope to see you in game when and if this update finishes for me lol
Anyone else having this issue? I know it's going to take forever to download the client, as everyone and their dog is trying to get it right now, but my main question, is this happening to anyone else?
I am able to log into my SE account with no troubles, and when I check my registered services the FFXIV Beta is there as well.
You could not log in because the service account in question is not registered. If you would like to log in to the service, please log in to the Square Enix Account Management System and register the service account.
now people just reciving invites and able to download client i got my email on the 12th and still keep gettin the message don't understand this u gotta wait thing

There is no such thing as "beta key" at the moment. All they do is activate FFXIV beta on your Square Enix account when you are selected.
Download is ultra slow right now, getting 95 kb/s max. All ports are open, hopefully the performance will improve tomo.

Where does SE expect people to get the client download if the site won't let people log in?

Got two beta's to try today and downloading them both, FFXIV downloading at 40kb/s while the other at 400k/s. Any help?
