Having mad fun with Torchlight singleplayer

Wow was down for maintenance so I went to this game to scratch my blizzard / diablo itch.  I've been hooked for several days now.  It's easy but the action sort of reminds me of the diablo 3 videos and is really addictive.  Really clean, fun animation/art.  Nice blood splats too. 

It feels like an exploit but I took a rare wand and kept upgrading it at the enchanter till it was like the whole length of my screen full of buffs.  Can clear rooms quick with the wand, without using any mana and it's more powerful than any spell I have.  True story.

Plenty of toys and character / gear upgrades to keep me curious to see what happens next.  Would be interesting to see an MMO of this game but hopefully it wouldn't ruin it.  Game's a must-try for any bored blizzard fan, especially if you liked diablo.

    They are making an MMO. The Single-Player Game is more or less a Demo for the MMO.

    I have played the game at my sister's home and felt it was alot of fun. More fun than my experiences with Diablo and such xD

    It reminds me of a cross between Diablo and Fate(If you ever played it). Why it reminds me of Fate is the fact you have a pet and can fish.

    I found a rare wand and had fun whacking monsters with it 8D­..

    Haven't gotten far, but hopefully will.

     

    Can't wait to see the mmo of this game :3

    I got to level 24 and the monsters there are extremely hard. I upgraded all my armor and still died like last 4 out of 10 times in mines.
