Hello,
First of all i have played Lorto , WoW , RoM , Allods , Aion , DDO.
And Knight Online for 6 years.
I will tell you a bit about Knight Online because u may not know it. It is very famous for the great PVP system, You get into a zone where u can kill the enemy race solo or by forming parties, each char has 10-20 skills.. that you combo with them, you cancel animation while potting with your mouse or instant healling (for some chars) so it depends on how good you combo yourself. (a lvl 75 rogue with great combo skills and mid items could win a lvl 80 rogue with great items but played by a sucky player that cant combo). The xp to the high lvls is only grinding... i mean you go to a spot of mobs... form a party or solo and you keep killing the mobs that respawn fast.. to lvl up... (there are quests.. that give XP but they requre to like kill 250 mobs of that kind... that u already kill) so its pretty grind..Its one of the few games that i saw that the items arent bound when picked.. or when equipted.. that way lets say a low lvl char or a player that doesnt want to farm for his items could just buy from the market.
The bosses.. where like some in the PK zone and some in another XP zone (with no enemies) those bosses where hard.. and they spawn every 5-6 hours at random places.. and you could camp and wait or take times and scout those zones. there are only 1-2 really hard bosses that had their own zone that you went there with a whole clan.
This game is pretty simple.. there is no crafting... jobs...you lvl up your char... unlock skills (not upgrade skills) and add stats to your char.. (like mages could add inteligence to get more mana or HP to get more life.. or MP to get more dmg....etc)
just a reference video

Because that was my first mmorpg i played and i played for 6 years.. its hard for me to get used to those other game i tried..
i would like to ask you people are there any games that come to your mind now that are similar to this ?
You may say why dont you play Knight Online then... (coz this game is runned by a terrible company.. that dont fix any problems and that lead to game been 90% cheaters , 10% normal players )
Thank you

if its pure PvP driven system your after then, while it may not seem like a typical MMO, APB (all points bulletin) is worth checking out.
if you message me your email address I'll send you a referal.
Everquest 2 - but wait for the free to play version coming out shortly. Personally I enjoy the PVP servers - you get loot from player corpses, and you cant be ganked by very high levels, and it plays (in style and controls) like LOTRO, WOW etc, so it feels very familiar.

There are a couple upcoming games that have combo systems, but I'm not aware of any F2P games already released that do (aside from KO). I just went through a 21 page list of F2P on another site last night that honestly all sounded the same and I haven't tried, so they could easily be out there and I'm just not aware of it.
Age of Conan is a P2P with a basic combo system and open world PVP. I never did any crafting in it, so it can easily be avoided if you prefer. FFXI has a group combo system, but it's PVE focused rather then PVP and is also P2P, so I don't think either of these are really what you are looking for.
Guild Wars is the only thing that strikes me as probably the closest to what you described. While it's not a traditional MMO and requires the initial investment of purchasing the game (then it's F2P), it does have very simple crafting, skill systems, and a lot of focus on the PVP aspect. You choose to either unlock abilities via questing and exploring starting at level 1, or you can create a PVP-only character that starts at 20 with the skills you've already unlocked (or 8 base skills per class if you haven't unlocked any yet). There are between 6 to 10 classes depending on which version of the game you buy, and most of the skills you unlock are restricted to one of those classes. You only have a hotbar of 8 skills active at one time, although you can swap those 8 out to hundreds of other skills after you've unlocked them via the adventuring mode or by purchasing skill unlock packs from NCSoft. That creates quite a bit of customizability and variety, although you always get people that expect you to have and use certain skills depending on your class. You can also choose a secondary class to supplement that skill set. Depending on the class you choose, it can be similar to a combo system and offers pretty good instanced PVP. The main complaint with it compared to other MMOs is the entire world is instanced except towns where you can meet people and group up to do something together. So you don't have any world PVP areas, and there's nothing to do in towns except find groups and chat. Your experience in the rest of the world is either alone, isolated to your own group, and with or without NPC hirelings to supplement your party or solo play. You're never going to run in to others while fighting mobs, bosses, or exploring the world, so that has it's positives and negatives - the negative being that it rarely 'feels' like an MMO. It's more like a single-player RPG with an online lobby (towns) and team-based PVP.
It's got a unique approach to the MMO design, so it is still very popular without much comparable to it until GW2 releases in 2011. I still play it regularly and always see the towns packed with people. The graphics are pretty unique so you might not like it, but I think they are pretty impressive and remarkable depending on the area. They are certainly a big step up from KO.
That's all I can think of at the moment based on what you described. If I think of any others, I'll be back.
I also disagree with anyone suggesting EQ2. It's not designed for PVP in my opinion, and is a lot more complex then any F2P that do focus on PVP or PVE. It's still one of my favorites when I am in the mood for PVE, but doesn't strike me as anything resembling what you said at all.
well yes i will buy for sure GW2 .. just dont think that i should buy gw now.. and start it.. and then buy gw2 a bit later.. thats why am looking to some f2p now

PvP is not the strongest point i am looking in a game...what i liked in KO was the bosses spawning in the map every 5-6 hours... and that u have to scout to find em and kill em (not like every game now that the bosses are like an instance) and that it was simple to lvl up... (grind grind grind grind) and that you could buy from the lowest armor/weap to the stronges in game.. coz there werent bind items.

Yeah, I can understand that. Unfortunately every F2P PVP centric game I've played is really terrible lol I'm looking forward to Blade Wars & Blade & Soul. I think the latter is going to be P2P though.
I think Perfect World has bosses like that. I've seen parties killing rare monsters around the world before, but I don't know much about the reward or rarity of them. I don't think it has PVP at all, but I could be wrong because I didn't play it very long. I know you can buy tons of items from the shops from other players. It's a pretty cool world to explore too. Leveling is very simple where you can go to an area and have a fast respawn to just grind to your heart's content. Many of the quests support that by leading you to the good camp spots.
I think you should try out Age of Conan. It's got pretty good PvP and with the latest expansion the population is up a bit. It may begining to drop a bit now that the x-pac's been out a while but I'm still enjoying it from time to time.
You could also try Steam. they run sales on games all the time. Just a couple of weeks ago I got Champions Online for less than what a months sub is. I found that game lame and can not suggest it but I'm just using that as an example.
perhaps you should try twelvesky2 since it sounds very much like the same basic grind/pvp model that you were used to with KO. Some people can't take the grind and the constant pvp, but if thats something you are familiar with, then why not try it. Its a f2p.
The there is Requiem Bloodymare. Its also a f2p with a unique aproach. There are both pve dungeons/raids and pvp battlegrounds. If you play on a pvp server then its obviously more cut throat with ffa pvp. That game has a 17yo+ requirement, and is quite gory. Its a cyberpunk/fantasy setting. The graphics are pretty decent. It also has a lot of grind in it, and you'd be better off comming from a background where you have had to deal with it before. Its gear dependant as well, however most gear is tradeable, and you can easily get to compete with others if you save your money and end up buying a few good pieces. Otherwise the best items are gotten through pvp.
Since you have played a lot of different mmo's I am asuming you are pretty well informed with whats out there, the above 2 are fairly small and might not be as mainstream so maybe you hadnt heard of those.
Also thought I'd mention, Guild Wars Eye of the North is a sort of prequel to GW2. It connects GW & GW2 via story, and lets you retain all achievements, titles, and trophies when you go to GW2, so it's not entirely a waste to play GW first. Understandable if you just want to save money though.
@Nilenya that am watching videos of those 2 and i am already downloading Twelvesky2 ...
am also downloading Regnum online its f2p and its seems pretty similar... any experience with it ?
@ZenNature hmm that may worth trying then..

I'm also gonna try Requiem now. I'm surprised I never heard of it, but looks like some good gruesome fun.
Fantasy Earth Zero and Dungeon Fighter Online are two I'll suggest.
They're not incredibly deep games, but they're free and accessible. They have cash shops but I can say for the F2P market not spending a dime in these games doesn't hinder you very much at all.
DFO is a 2D fighter sort of like Streets of Rage or Final Fight but man it can get hectic and fun and leveling and building your character is great if you're into micromanaging stats like me.
FEzero is 3D and it's an action type game where if you swing your sword and it hits something the hit will count. It's fast paced and fun, best of all it's pretty well populated so grouping and pvping happens constantly.
I kill other players because they're smarter than AI, sometimes.
I will suggest Darkfall Online. Its relatively simple, and is purely based on the PvP of the world. I no longer play as I was looking for a game world with a bit more depth, however it seems like knight online and Darkfall have similar straightforward approaches to the game, and minimize the extra fluff.
There's a 14 day free trial. I think you should at least check it out.

Laudanum - Romance. Revenge. Revolution.
Crappy, petty people breed and raise crappy, petty kids.
You might want to try Silkroad online as well. It is a grindy game, but has alot of unique qualities. It has a stong focus on PvP, and an unusal system of merchant/thief/hunter. Players who are merchants buy goods in one city and load them up on camels and venture to another city to sell them for a profit. Players who are thieves(ninjas) group up and surprise attack the traders on the trade route and try to kill them and take the loot. Hunters are hired by merchants to protect them along the way. The game has an auto potion feature. There are alot of unique mob spawns as well. Just say you're hunting tigers, there will be "champions" that spawn occasionally that are harder to kill but have increased xp and loot. There is also a chance of a "giant" spawning. These are usually 5-10 times the size of the regular mob, and will have greatly increased xp and drops. There are also "unique(named)" and "elite" mobs as well. One drawback is that the servers are very crowded and can be hard to log into. This is mostly due to bots and gold farmers.
damn this sounds nice... dunno how i havent checked silkroad yet... (there in the same "kind" of mmorpg's KO , Linage , Silkroad) i may take a look at it....
also darkfall sounds nice but since its p2p i would rather buy gw

Reading this thread remined me of Avendar. That was my first true love. It's a MUD that has classes/lore/pvp system that makes your AAA titles these days seem like kids play.
I just tried Requiem today and it wasn't a bad game. It felt a lot like Lineage 2 to me for some reason. The localization was so bad it got to the point I stopped reading the quest dialogues because I didn't find any that made much sense lol It's so easy to just have the interface direct you to the objective though that it didn't matter anyway. The monster design is pretty cool, and combat animations were well done. I didn't play long enough to get in to the PVP or figure out what other features it had, but definitely worth a try. I had this annoying bug where the whole world would drop in gamma lighting to pitch black, although my character would still be visible, then a few seconds later everything would light up again. Don't know what was going on, but that's the only real complaint I have with it. I'll probably keep playing it a bit longer unless I end up back in Lineage 2 instead
I tried Regnum Online... its ok.. pretty basic... and i tried TwelveSky 2 i just couldnt get into it.. coz smth with the moving around... cameras..keys.. i dont know :P
I am downloading Silkroad now.. any1 wanna join me ?

Well if all oyur looking for is just Lvl grinding and Pvp then I would suguest 9 Dragons. It is a very well made and solid game if your into Lvl grinding and PvP. It is accuallty the only F2P I have ever spent money on and it was worth it. The only reson I do not play now is because my wife has me playinf CoX with her and I also play STO because I am a little bit of a trekkie nerd. I have been playing off and on for allmost 2 years and it has been one of the only F2P mmos I have not uninstalled from my HD. The others are Project Torque a racing MMO and MLB Dugout a baseball MMO for when I get the itch for a baseball game. I hope this helps a bit.
i checked some vids about 9Dragons.. i will look a bit more into it later thx
i will get into checking silkroad now
