Does Everquest support writing my own books? This would come in handy when I am to write my recipes to quickly see what I need.
I am aware of the /note command but Writing books I can store in my own house would be much more fun. Btw can I read ingame what I have written down with the /note command?
I posted before with this subject, but somehow I cant seem to find my topic
thnx in advance!

Nope, it sure doesn't
Nothing at all? To bad...
Is it possible then to buy my own artisan tables (woodworking table, furnace and stuff) to place in my house? And I read something about the costs of mounts, are they really almost 9000pp??
Well only one day and then I will have my copy and I will find out for myself, bare with me for a little while
Writing your own books sounds like a really awesome idea to me actually........I just send a /feedback into SOE with that. Thanks!
also, yes it is possible to get crafting stations for your house. however, you have to have money AND city status to buy them. you can get status from doing city tasks (known as writs) and heritage quests. heritage quests are a very, very fast way of getting status. (Dwarven Work Boots will get your guild 1000 status and you 30k personal status!). there are also different kinds of tables. the first ones you can get cost less but they can only make shaped items (thats 2 quality levels below pristine and your item most ikely wont get bought). later on you can get normal ones or in your house though.
as for mounts, theres different kinds. paladins and shadowknights get mounts when they hit level 20 for 15s but they are by far the slowest mounts in the game (only 10% speed increase). for around 1pp you can buy one that boosts it up to around 25%. the 10pp horse brings it to something like 40% i think. also, there are very special mounts such as the Spirit Steed and the Magic Carpet which require a LOT of status points.

Thnx on the info!
I'll /feedback the writing idea again when I have the game (perhaps then they will hurry it up ). Good to know about the crafting stations and the mounts. It will take a while but the prices aren't that much compared to the 9000pp I heard .
btw does anybody know if Sony is planning of implementing a true 24hr 7days a week time schedule (like in WoW). Twould be much cooler and it wil give the torches a much better purpose as well as making the game more reallistic. What more cooler then seeing the sun coming up ingame and realizing that its time to go to work soon
thnx man
i highly doubt that they will, mostly because there are some things that only happen at certain game hours. this would make it really hard for some people who work odd shifts to get some things accomplished.
also, there are some quests (eg DWB) that require you to wait a game day to get something so that would just be a pain.

In that case it would be more of a pain indeed. How do they calculate the times now, how many minutes real time is an hour ingame?
3 IRL minutes per hour so a game day passes in 72 minutes
