Somebody in the pub reminded me of this game. The main thing I disliked was the UI. If the UI could get improved this game could be much fun

I can't see anything fundamentally wrong with the UI. It's clean, functional, and you can drag it around to suit your own preferences and a very similar UI has been around for years now.
