Ok so I have a few questions.

I downloaded this game a couple of days ago and have been casually playing. Mostly solo grinding and questing. I'm kind of liking it so far. The combat is relatively fast paced and the art style is acceptable but I just have a few questions hopefully some of you people could answer.
1. Just exactly how important is the cash shop in this game?
2.When does the PVP or RVR start?
3.Do I have to have one of those creepy little kids following me everywhere? (i have no idea what they are for but I think it's creepy having a 6 year old girl following me everywhere)
I'm basically downloading and trying every F2P game out right now because I just can't justify paying a monthly fee to resub to one of my normal P2P games. As far as F2P goes this one seems to be the most enjoyable after Allods went insane. So any info really about this game would be much appreciated.

1. Not very since most of your PvP will be done as a group. In the rare chance that you're fighting alone, upgrades via the cash shop would make a difference though.
2. It can start at anytime but most people seem to start when they're around level 30 and just reaching the Tabaza Desert map. Most of the players from the enemy nations don't bother to visit the maps lower than that and the Desert map is actually next to the the entry point between nations. Make sure you're on the PvP channel though.
3. No but you'll need her activated in order to continue to do the quests. If you don't like her in kid form, turn her back into fairy form. Oh, and she grows up too at level 20.
