Rest in peace Brian, and my Condolences go out to Brians family, and friends.

On a personal note, I hope these 4 Drivers in the car that did this get what they deserve. I seriously don't know what is going on with the world today lack of education, kids on drugs it is all bad. The only thing that serves these type of killers right, and people who do not use common sense drinking driving,or drugs, and killing a person is Life in jail so that they may suffer for the rest of their Life, a really fast death sentence is really doing them a favor, and hopefully they will all learn from their mistakes, and may god forgive those drug dealers who caused the accident, because they are going to need it.

"The other vehicle's driver was taking off her sweater and had turned the wheel over to a passenger."

Man the stupidity... there should be an intelligence test for getting a driver license. Taking of her sweater??

  • aleosaleos Member UncommonPosts: 1,943

    "her" sweater

My condolensces to the family. Shame that he was killed in such a senseless way.

What a horrible way to go: in an accident with an SUV driven by drugged up people. I hope that his family sees justice done and can recover from the death, Hoping for all the best...

I had heard about someone from Relic being killed in an accident, and didn't know who it was until this post.  Weird enough, I just saw the news story about this too.

If only more people cared about others the way this man cared.

The report said that there was drugs involved in the person who hit them. Lots of them.  But hey, as long as you have fun with your drugs, who cares about the consequences right? Blah.

Rest in peace Mr. Wood.  God bless your family in their time of great loss.

Drug-driving needs to have just as severe a stigma to it as alcohol & just as severe penalities, anything which diminishes responsibility & capability while at the wheel has these tragic consequences vastly more likely than if "clean" at the wheel.

My heart goes out to Brian's family & friends & I hope they can take some comfort from his brave & selfless actions, his loss through such actions makes it all the more poignant that such a soul has been taken through stupidity.

I hope every single person in that SUV never ever forgets the tragedy they have been a part of, even if you were not controlling that vehicle you share blame because you could have helped prevent that stupidity ever taking place, all that evil needs to prevail is for good people to do nothing, I hope all of them live with nightmares of their actions, or inactions, for the rest of their lives.

    RIP Brian.

My condolences go out for his wife and family. He was indeed very brave, and gave them the gift of the ultimate sacrifice. That was a very sad story,

I hope the two persons in the SUV who caused the accident pay.

The scariest part is...my mom and I do that "take the wheel for me" thing a lot. I don't think we'll be doing that anymore. o_o

RIP Brian. Kudos to you for your final act and may your soul find rest.
