Well the early access spiel is going on, but you need to snake a key to get in, so yeah, wait for the real open beta. Might have the third character playable by then. The game is fun as all hell imo, but only in short spurts. It's not something you wanna go at for 8+ hours at a time.

    Otherwise, the F2Ps I am currently into are;

Mabinogi - Very reminiscent of Runescape, just better looking. Has a lot of depth, but the combat is kinda wonky. The paper/rock/scissors style of play is cool, but I've seen it done with much tighter control in Shin Megami Tensei Online (which is also good, but far more shallow, sadly). Vindictus is the sequel/prequel to this one.

Uncharted Waters Online - I'm enjoying it, but waiting for the 7 days after I made my characters so I can delete them and start over. I'm anal about how they look atm. Anyway, if you liked Sid Meier's Pirates!, you'll like this one.

Dungeon Fighter Online - Another dungeon crawler like Vindictus, only 2d sidescroller. It really looks and plays good though, but it's another game you can't go at for 8+ hours in a single sitting before getting burntout.

Fantasy Earth Zero - I like the combat and group battles a lot, it has some action-oriented gameplay and RTS elements with building war structures on the battlefield. My only beef with it is how confusing a lot of the systems are, like quests and equipment upgrades, n' such.

Aika - Probably the least grindy F2P I've played, nothing felt like a grind until the late 30's, when the quests had me running back for the same damn snakes in the desert zone. Never hit max level, but it's worth a try. I don't see the big deal about the pran system though, it's just your average combat pet, only it talks to you on occasion.

Atlantica - I really enjoyed this one, but stopped playing near lvl 80 because I got into other games. If you like turn-based battle, it's deffo worth a go. The world is well designed, and there's a ton of smart moves going on in it that get people to be more social, and less aggravating - which is rare in the F2P community. Guild towns, monster data trading and long distance groups are things that should catch on in other games.

I say you go for something along the lines of LOTRO or Guild wars those are great F2P mmos. They both have great graphics and gameplay and much much to do in the large world.

    Playing: WoW
Waiting On: SWTOR, GW2, Rift, TERA.

Everquest 2 now has a free version called Everquest 2 Extended, I just started it, only lvl 8 but its allright so far. I've wanted to try EQ2 for a while so it might be worth a try.

    I'll Be Back

I already have been told about loads of free MMO's I hadn't heard of. However i still haven't found one that wants to make me download it as soon as I see it. I'm apparently "Fussy" about what im looking for so i guess I should make a post about exactly what i want in a free MMO.

    1) It must be free and able to get most content on it without paying for it

    2) Must have a high lvl cap 100+ would be nice

    3) Fairly good graphics, can be animated graphics (Manga / chi bi style), rather if its not though.

    4) Tuns of areas to go to in the game

    5) Plenty of Minigame sort of things on the game to do (for example Fishing, probably shouldn't class as Minigame)

    6) Must be very enjoyable to play Not tedious or dull.

    7) Hope this hasn't bored you, and please keep posting. This may not only be helping me out but maybe even people who are reading this or posting on this Thread aswell. Thanks everyone

Now i think about it , yeah. I ask way to much for a free game... So if anyone knows of a game with those factors then just say it, also say if its f2p or p2p. I would buy a pay once only MMO such as guild wars, but i wouldn't subscribe to one such as WOW. (That reminds me WOW sucks, i was on a private server for a day, its awful)

so you are looking for a B2P? (Buy To Play) not a P2P (Pay To Play).

Anyway not many B2P games about...maybe Guild Wars 2 but that still has a while till it comes out.

Yeah i meant b2p, my mistake. I'm looking forward to Guild Wars 2, its out this year i think. I hope it has a higher lvl cap than Guild Wars. 20 Is too low.

Easily the best game you will get for free is EQ2,a few annoying limitations, but ignoring those and you have a much better product than you will get anywhere else.IMO even if you have to pay to play EQ2 extended with those limitations,it is still a better game than most.If you have a real good PC,you can tweak EQ2 to look fantastic, all your gear will look amazing.

I think I might check this out, wonder if the combat is any good.

"An MMORPG could be completely diffirent from WoW. Just look at games like Dofus, Wizard101 or EVE. But as it is, most of the Western MMOs are trying to succeed by out-WoWing WoW. It's like an army of 10 sports games made about same sports, and barely none about other sports. WoW clone is an accurate description of those games, it manages to convey much information with only two words."

I've been on Runes Of Magic now, I think its quite good, prefer Jade Dynasty. I got to lvl 34 on Rom, its quite hard to lvl up on it compared to JD, I like the duel class system though. Neo online looks fairly good, Whats the max level on it? Whats the leveing speed like on Neo aswell? Anymore MMO's i should know about whether they are f2p or b2p?

Pretty sure the Cap is 40. The point of gw was never to grind for the best gear or level. It was always to play the story and possibly grind for cooler skins. Pretty positive GW2 won't have a level cap that high. Simply goes against the philisophy of GW

    Playing: Ever quest 2
    Played: MS,GW,EVE,LOTRO,WoW,Allods,Aion, CO,CoH,CoV,TQ Digital games, Darkfall,AoC,RS2.
Liked: Dungeon fight online, GW, Darkfall and, Runescape.
Waiting for: Link Realms(can't get my damn beta invite) KOTOR and, GW2

I am playing Everquest II extended F2P and I am really enjoying it. You are restricted to only 6 classes I think, but some good ones are available. Naturally you must purchase some luxuries, but I haven't found anything I can't do without yet.

    80 is the level cap.

First off i just want to say, that that's the most quotes i've ever seen before... and that GW2 has said that its going to be 80 as the level cap. So don't get my hopes down... 80 is a reasonable level for an MMO
