Hey all, i plan on coming back soon. I havents played since june, can anyone give me some details on what im missed since ive been gone? Is there anything more to do then there was in 3.3.3?

eehhh, Not so much, they did add a new event, you can read up on a lot of this at MMO-Champion. If you have friends to play with you will have fun, as is with any game. But its all pretty much the same here
Patch 4.0 will be landing soon. Many people are guessing at next tuesday :P That will add a lot of pre Cata stuff like class talent changes, and class changes in general.
For Gnomeregan, brewfest events + Troll islands (Echo Isles) event for the hordies. Sundering patch coming after the talent overhaul next patch. Not much missed but lots is about to change.
We've had the same content for nearly a year now, sorry. Everyone is bored and a lot of people are qutting, the truth. The only real new stuff is Ruby Sanctum (like Obsidian Sanctum but for T10), the Gnomeregan/Echo Isles reclamation events and alt leveling. Other than that, it's pretty stale.
I have not played since feb but I'll be back for 4.0.1 live (PTR is testing the live release as we speak).
As a hunter I have lots of goodies to test out and I plan to casualy run some 5man's to get some heirloom gear for my Goblin when Cata is released Nov/Dec.
PvP should be fun as many classes are getting used to new tree's abilities, resources etc.

I haven't played in about 6 months, since I got my hunter to 80 >.< I just got a scroll of res yesterday from a friend and to tell the truth I feel so lost lol. Picking up in the middle of questlines and what gear I have and all that is daunting when you haven't played in a while...for me anyways o.O

Can I cast Scroll of Resurrection on any of my friend's accounts?
The Scroll of Resurrection can only be cast on a Classic World of Warcraft account. It is not possible to cast Scroll of Resurrection on trial, Burning Crusade or Wrath of the Lich King accounts.
And you need to have WoTLK to be lvl 80.

Yes, I had bought BC and WOTLK already but stopped playing...one of my friends res'd me. I've been playing since yesterday so I guess the answer to your question would be "Yes", you can use it on any account type. Worked on my old WOTLK account
after 3 months you will rage quite wow again
and after 6 months you will make another thread "coming back"
