I think Oregon has a legitamate chance to go undeafted this year, not saying they wont stumble. I have been an Oregon fan for a long time and I am so happy for them. Their style of play for offense is deadly and it's finally coming out of the woodwork. I really don't think one team in this country can stop them if they are clicking on all cyclinders.

Oregon is 1st place in Offense over all, 4th place in rushing over all and 38th in passing. That is pretty impressive. And to top it off no one has scored on Oregon in the 4th quarter all year long.

I would love to see an Oregon, Auburn or Oregon, Boise State or Oregon and Oklahoma for the championship. I for one think they do need a play off system, 16 teams on each side. Still have the bowls but categorize them on each tier of progression in the tournement.

If Boise State and TCU are the last 2 undeafteds left, they should play for the title. However, TCU players #9 Utah (conference game). However, if Boise State, Oregon and lets say Auburn or Oklahoma are undeafted at the end of the year, Boise State shouldn't play in the championship game.

Also a good win for my cats over those damn cocks!

With Alabama and Ohio State both losing, I think this really puts Boise State in the driver's seat.  They won't lose another game and should get one of the championship spots.  The other spot will be fought over by Oregon, TCU, Oklahoma, Auburn, LSU and even Michigan State.  Oregon and TCU have the easiest paths to get there.

This is exactly why I want a college playoff.  Because the system that's in place now essentially makes every regular season game a playoff game.  With a playoff system, teams like Alabama and Ohio State could slip up and still have a chance to win it all.

I see Oregon losing and a few others losing. This years BCS NC game is going to suck ass. It will probably be Boise St. vs. TCU. It will be the most least watched NCG ever.

Looks like your perdiction is wrong. I can see Oregon maybe loosing one. If Oregon makes the championship game, you will see how an offense is played.

If the current top 5 run the tables I think the BCS will go Oregon, OU, BSU, TCU, Auburn because of stength of schudule. MIzzou and OSU are both ranked high and will be away games for OU giving a huge boost to our computer points. And imo BSU needs to blow the top off of their next game, because a ranked win for a away game should be enough to move OU up next week.

Technically, the Pac 10 is the best conference according to the computers. To Zind, really Oregon doesn't have an easy route. They have a much tougher schedule than Ohio State. Oregon played at Tennessee even though they are down this year, was down 21-3 to #9 stanford and came back and won by THREE touchdowns! They still have to play Oregon state who is just outside of the top 25 as well as USC and still have to play #18 Arizona still. I see you guys only play Wisconsin, Michigan and Miami Fl. I wouldn't be so fast to say Oregon has the easiest, I would say that Oregon has just as a tough or tougher schedule as Ohio State.

Yeah, an offense that plays against no defense. Buckeyes shut down Oregon last year. The moment they play a team with defense they'll be shut down hard. Also, Oregon's defense gives up too many points.

It will be BSU vs. TCU.

Lol. Yes Ohio State shutdown Oregon. Oregon came in there way too arrogant. It was a mental error. Oregon never took control and let Ohio State play that game. This is a brand new team with a brand new quarterback. I think this year Oregon is a better team than Ohio State. And Ohio State has a defense? Really? Compared to other mucks in the Big Ten? Big Ten football defense is so slow compared to other defenses. I'd say that Iowa is the only one in contention for defense in the Big Ten. Can Ohio State win an SEC Championship? I highly doubt that, considering they havent beat an SEC team for the National Championship when they played in this decade.  Yes Oregon's defense does give up too many points. That is a fact. But you still can't deny that no one this year has scored in the 4th quarter against Oregon just yet.

Try talking trash after Oregon beats tOSU. Oh that's right they haven't. I looked at Oregon's schedule. They have one team on their that plays decent defense. That's AZ. Honestly though, I don't see them getting past USC. Yep, even as bad as USC is this year they will knock Oregon off.

Trash talking? You must not comprehend very well. I was just stating the facts. The haters gonna hate. Just like everyone hates Kentucky basketball. The best of the best. Oregon isn't the best of the best traditionally but they are in contention to be the best this year. Ohio State finally played a quality team away and couldn't win. Would they beat Miami at Miami? I highly doubt that. Ohio State is just bad as Duke, play a weak non conference schedule and a fairly week conference.  I am not saying Oregon is high and mighty, I am just saying Ohio State isn't high and mighty either.

What does the SEC have to do with Oregon? Ohio State would do just fine in the SEC. A lot of Ohio State's players come from down south anyways, recruited away from SEC schools.

It's funny seeing Oregon have a couple good seasons and they think they are the cream of the crop. You feel like comparing traditions?

I doubt if you feel that way tonight.  Looks like what goes around comes around.  It's starting to look more like Oregon vs Boise St.  Auburn is still in the hunt, but I'm betting they lose to Alabama.  I wouldn't completely count out Mich St either.  They play Iowa next week in a huge game.  Who knows, TCU might still sneak in there too.  Especially if Oregon loses.

That wasn't a upset. For a upset the other team needs to beat the higher ranked one. OU beat themselves, mistake after mistake. It could have easily been a blow out in OU's favor. The fact that Mizzou could only win by 9 with the problems show that OU is the last team they want to play again in the conference champ.

We are out of the NC hunt but I want Oregon and Auburn to run the tables so we can get BSU in the Fiesta bowl for a rematch.

Haha, they had you worried though for at least  the first three quarters. Anyways, I'm only cheering against Oregon and the other top teams so Ohio State can move up. I have a feeling we are going to lose to Iowa anyways though so it doesn't matter.

Your friends are very intelligent to be Oregon duck fans! lol. Thanks, you guys took Oregon out of their element last year in the rose bowl. I'd like to see a Oregon Auburn title game. And Ohio State and Boise State in the Rose Bowl.

For those who said Oregon will loose at USC? Really? By 3 tds, they won by 3 tds! Eat your crow boys, its fresh and hot.

Well I never predicted Oregon would loose to USC and it doesn't bother me that they didn't.  But I do feel that Oregon's toughest games are still to come.  Arizona and Oregon St.  Not saying either one will beat Oregon, but I think those two teams have the best shot at beating the Ducks.  Arizona has a good team this season.  Fortunately for Oregon, the game is in Eugene.

And no one would love to spoil an undefeated season for the Ducks more than their arch-rivals, the Beavers.  Oregon St. also has a pretty good team this year, and with rivalry games, records usually don't mean much anyway.

I used to laugh at a match-up between two schools whose mascots were ducks and beavers, but both teams have earned the country's respect.  You still could see an Ohio State - Oregon rematch if things fall into place.  Duck's fans better be careful what they wish for.  The Buckeyes have the kind of defense that could frustrate Oregon's potent offense.

Oregon loses to USC next weekend. Book it!

Wait, you use to laugh at a team's mascot who is a duck or a beaver? And your mascot is a nut? Really? *smh* Ohio State will frustrate the Oregon offense for about two quarters and be gassed. Oregon will be out for blood if they play Ohio State. Like Seabass said, you will probably loose to Iowa. This year the Oregon offense has better composure and is more fluid on offense than last year. If Oregon played Ohio State I'd say in a box score...

                       1          2          3          4

    Oregon -   10        7          21        14           52

    Ohio St. -   7         14         13         0           34

As for the Oregon State game, yeah that could be a difficult one. They want pay back from last year. I think that will be a close game and I think Oregon will pull out with a late INT or TD.

Not just a nut, a poisonous one.  A buckeye would drop a duck or a beaver in a minute if it tried to eat it.  Don't screw with tannic acid baby.

Nothing wrong with that.  Sometimes you have to be a little nuts to win football games.

This sounds a lot like last year. Wasn't Oregon supposed to drop 50 on the 'Bucks last year? Anyways, I don't think we will get to find out this year. As of right now Ohio State's D is depleted. The nice thing is the long lay off before a bowl game will do tOSU some real good. We need it. Also, we get our bye week this week so we get to sit back and just watch all the action. It's nice to have a week off just before the home stretch.

It will not matter how well BSU or TCU plays....neither will see the NCG...ever.    Why?  Because they are non-BCS schools and we can't have non-BCS schools playing for the big money!
