I had done some research on a few different item malls and since I had it recorded, I decided to upload the info to a website I run. You can look up item name, description, game currency cost, and max/min USD price. The items are divided by categories that I thought made the most sense. If interested, you can view an example here. I think I can improve the organization but I'm curious how useful/interesting this actually is. You don't really even need to visit the site to give your opinion as the topic is more on the concept than the execution - though both are welcome.

Unless it was a vast improvement over the original game's page, I would say it's not useful at all. Most of the F2P games I've played, have pretty good systems at navigating their item malls. They usually have links to buy the item directly as well.
It would be alot of work to get it to a point where it would be an improvement over the original game's db, as well as being able to buy the items from your site at 0 markup. If you could get users, have a great system, and get contracts with the games where you take a % of their profits, the site has the potential to be extremely profitable.

If you do it right and collect enough data in an easy to read and sort format you could probably make a nice profit by keeping it to yourself and finding a way to sell it to different marketing firms.
Some do say that f2p is the future. Who knows. I hope its true. So this may have perspective.
As of now this may be useful idea because people are interested in what is sold in converted P2P games cash shop, so instead of asking on the forums people may visit your page. As for F2P games' cash shop I do not think people are really interested about that.
Those are three very different responses. Thanks for taking your time to give input!
My original intent of use for this list was for people to quickly and easily see what type of item mall you'd be getting with the game. On top of that the USD conversion is more forthcoming than the virtual currency you see on the games' site. It would also be better in terms of a pure reference point for other blogs and sites to point to.
Working out deals with publishers is a possibility but would require better integration with the rest of the site. Thanks for the suggestion. 'll keep it in mind as long users find the primary purpose above useful enough for me to keep building it out.
Preston, you feel that people are interested in cash shops for games like LOTRO and DDO but not the Aeria Games, Perfect World, Outspark MMOs? Can I ask why?
