Heh, one of the vids where you can hover-jump immense distances has me kinda sold. Puts Aion's "freedom" of flying to shame (was a huge dissapointment to me when I played it).
I just don't know how I feel about combat yet. It's not a hack-n-slash, which is the new trend that I am definitely starting to fall for. Instead it's basically the same ol' hotbar combat with a rolodeck similar to Aion and Spellborne's mechanics. I have a feeling I'd be spending more time looking at the hotbar than the sweet-ass animations going on, and that's *ALWAYS* been my problem with that style of combat. Hmpf...

This is my exact feel, the autotarget make the game non a true action mmorpg but more a 1 vs 1 player vs mob/player like any other tab target f2p mmorpg (the only difference is that the target is automated). Mah, i prefer Tera, more action over this because even if in Tera there is some sorta of soft-lock at least you have more freedom and you can hit multiple mobs at the same time with normal hits and dodge where here seems impossible. Time will tell.

Blade & Soul doesn't use auto-target as in click the mob. It's more of a lock on really and if the enemy is fast you have a high chance to miss.
I think is similar to guild wars 2 you focus on an enemy (target) but afterwards you need to move and aim like a hack & slash.
Practically yes, it's not fully hack & slash but not fully auto-based either, we still have to see a real pvp video where both characters play to see what it is like. Until then I keep my concerns.

This is one of the problems you don't have to worry about, the devs have said numerous times that they have minimized the UI in order to bring the best experience out of the graphics and the gameplay, proof is that the game is being developed for consoles too.
All the classes have the same fancy move of tossing the enemy up in the air with diff animations?
Umm...No? Only the Kung-Fu master does that .
If you'd watched all the videos you would have know that, indeed, all 5 of the known classes do an air toss of some sort. The evidence is in the G-Star videos you can find on youtube.

Yup, but they do not toss the target in the air. Only the kung-fu master can toss it up. The others do some other kind of things to bring it up.
