What are you looking forward too?

The title can be a bit misleading, so sorry about that. Really, I'm asking what you're looking forward to finding out is in the game or not.

For example, one thing I want to see if it's going to be in the game or not is Architect crafting. I really had fun with that crafting in Galaxies, and I liked their system overall for all crafting. Looking at the video, I like it now too, and can't wait to find out if architect is going to be in it.

What're you all looking forward too?

200 hours of class based story/gameplay.  For each class.

I want to see if all the people who say they are not going to play are in the game.

Of course they will, because a lot of the morons blasting the game in these forums with the same tired arguments over and over again will realize that the stupid sandbox theme they keep yearning for is already available in games like darkfall.... which is SO SUCCESSFUL (/sarcasm off). Then they realize when those games stay niche or fail that they have nothing to play, so they join the rest of the world in reality who will have fun roaming around the beautiful NON LINEAR open world themepark that will be SWTOR and then hide the fact that they are actually enjoying themselves but ironically with their 4 Alts on these forums will still blast the game. It's like a sickness.

I'm most looking forward to a brand new open world to roam with friends that I havnt seen in a while because we are all separated in different games until we all join back together in this one. I love the star wars theme with these huge planets and can't wait to PVP and PVE in a game that will offer so many different things to keep us busy for ages to come.

To answer the title question. I want to see the hand crafted game world and classic SW sounds.

To answer your post. I want confirmation that there will be PvP servers for spontaneous open world PvP.

For me it's the Alt Factor and a story per class. That alone is enough. But of course there is the Star Wars aspect, the music, the sounds, lightsabers!, spaceships, companions!

What am i looking forward to? The choices and how the story line has developed for other people as compared to my own. Also the ability to influence that story from people other then the main character or the person doing the quest.

That alone sounds like a cool feature, I loved it when city of heroes/villians talked, you could hear them saying things like "i will not let (player characters name) stop me here, no matter what they think they can do or a random passerby saying did you hear what (player characters name) did to that guy, that makes me scared to even be around him .  Course it was scripted and would say the same thing for me when i got to that point but i got a kick out of it none the less. This game seems to be taking that one step further.

Help me Bioware, you're my only hope.

Is ToR going to be good? Dude it's Bioware making a freaking star wars game, all signs point to awesome. -G4tv MMo report.

The Alt Factor and story per class is important to me too. I should have listed that :-). That leads to HUGE replayability in my eyes. :-)

strangely enough, i am looking forward to this game bring life back into the relationship with my girlfriend.  We met at a gaming convention back in 2007 and have since moved in together.  Over the past year, we have stopped playing MMO's and as a result, our relationship has suffered a little.  Online gaming was our escape from reality and gave us something to do togehter, look forward to when we are at work and talk about afterwards...

Me, my lady and both of my sons are watching this title with a keen eye for sure and we are all excited about its possiblities.  What sucks the most is she is going to make me join the good side (jedi) when i am inherantly evil (sith)...

i know that's kinda weird, but those that have gamer girls may understand...

You are looking for excitement in your stale relationship?

Heck, next time you 2 are enjoying whoopie, just use the ole "Oops didnt mean to get ya in the wrong hole" routine. That will either break the boredom up, or she will be running for the door every time you suggest another session.

Either way, the tedium has been livened up.  image

As far as myself, I am looking forward to actually playing game so I dont have to deal with the brds while waiting. I am beyond tired of the constant whining. Sadly there isnt a place to discuss this game without witnessing this BS.

Once game launches, we can just add these folks to the ignore list.

I'm looking forward to saying "yep, it's exactly what i expected" while watching the mass waves of disappointment from the fanbois when they realize the game is nothing special and from the haters when they realize that it is a fully functional game that's actually quite fun and successful.

Rational people 4tw.  Of course, I have been wrong before too...

Features-wise, I'm look forward to finding out whether there is any meaningful skill-based gameplay other than combat.  I don't expect there is, but I haven't totally written off the possibility yet.

Not sure how architect is going to be in the game, there is no houseing other than your spacecraft.

Whoah there...relationship is far from "stale"...we just dont have a game like the one that brought us together.  Instead, we end up spending more time involved in other activities which are not related to gaming...

My point was, it was games that brought us together...which is something we both miss.

BTW:  she likes it in the hershey highway....

Looking forward to when the game releases and playing my Sith. The only other features I care about hearing is more detail into what we can craft and sell. How will we advertise ourselves? We will have a way of searching the galaxy for specific items?

    Currently Playing: World of Warcraft
