Still waiting...

So I've heard that Beta Pre-order keys are now going out, but apparently not to me. Should I start being concerned? Or are there others out there that are still waiting on receiving their pre-order beta keys? I know they said that these would be out before Nov. 30th but I have seen no announcements on how these keys are being distributed? Does anyone know if they are only sending them out one day a week or are small batches going out every day? Any insights would be appreciated.

    No idea how they are sending these out right now. From what I've heard they are inviting more people every day.  I would say wait until the 29th and then get worried about it.

    OK, so here is some valuable informaiton for those of you who are waiting on you Pre-order beta keys.

    I called SOE @ SOE Support - 858.537.0898 (this is a call to SanDiego, CA so call at your own risk of long distance charges)

    Choose Option 9 in the their menu (option 9 is all other games)

    Once I had the rep on the phone I was able to give him my SOE station name and he was able to verify my status for Beta and let me know where I was at in the process. It at least re-assured me that they recieve my scan without issue and it was being processed.

    When you call that number, choose technical support first, then hit 9 from there.  I just did, and after submitting my screen a month ago, I called to find out that they didnt have a record of me sending it. 

     

    The support guy was helpful enough to wait on the phone while I re-submitted in .jpg format instead of .pdf and confirmed verbally that they are pushing out more keys and my content was received.

    I was going to recommend that you wait until the 30th to get worried, but it's cool that they were able to help you out like that.

    Good Call! I totally forgot about the technical support prompt... and you are right, the guy I spoke with was exceptionally helpful, too. I know these people have to be getting a ton of calls about this, but they are taking it in stride. So, if you do use this method to checkup on your status, please be friendly to these people. My guess is these people take a lot of grief (I mean this SOE after all) :)

    They didn't have mine either. :( I resubmitted, but the guy on the phone couldn't wait so I will call back again later to be sure they have it this time. I really wish there had been some kind of automated response when I first submitted it.

    Still waiting for mine too, and I pre-ordered way back in october. I sent, then re-sent yesterday, and just to be sure I got my e-mail address right, re-sent today. If I don't get in on this Beta event, I will be a little upset....and you won't like me when I'm angry....i may write a nasty email. That's about the extent of my rage.

    If you havent, I'd suggest resending proof as a .jpg and also use a second email account, so doing it 2x, just to cover your bases.  At least thats what the support guy that helped me out was having me do before he said he could wait on the line with me to see if my email information I sent in their beta report tool actually worked; it did for me as I got real-time confirmation.

    And yea, thats after I did it 2x back in october, but I think my file was a .pdf. /shrug

    well, if it's possible for you to call the number i posted above, they can at least confirm that they have received it.

    Also, check the size limit of your attachment.  I believe they are stripping anything over 2 MB. Try to save it as a .jpg, since it's a compressed file format.  .bmp files would probably be too large. Also try opening a ticket at their support desk and uploading the image with the ticket.  That way when you get them on the phone, you can refer them to the ticket if they can't find your submission.

    You are talking about the PC version, correct? because I don't think the PS3 is getting into any beta...
