what you think about this relative new movement of music?

blackgaze, pretty much shoegaze, with some black metal elements, a new thing within the metal genre and its A-MAZ-ZING

if you are into dark-type music, whether it be a genre like trip hop, you gotta check this out

it is mostly happening in france so it hasnt spread out that much in the US yet

    Really, I listened to the first 2 and didnt hear/notice anything "new" or refreshing in either.  But that's me.

    its a unique blend of shoegaze and some elements of black metal, if you are really into metal you will notice that it is unique but if you aren't, you will probably think it's been done before, like saying meshuggah isn't unique. This type of music haven't been around for long but I can see if it doesn't sound new or refreshing if you not into the genre - shoegaze or metal.

    yea pretty good songs.....im not really sure though whats new about it........this is fairly similar to the old Metal/melody folk genre that was around back in the late 60s early 70s......... still its a nice easy listening melody to listen too......

    what? there was no folk metal in the 60s or 70s

     

    edit: have you listened to the third song? no folk in that, just the first two songs have folk in it, namely the second one
