A solid (f2p) with randomly (!) generated loot etc.

As the title says. I'm desperately looking for a solid f2p (not necessarily) game which follows the idea of Ultima Online / Roguelikes / Diablo 2. At least when it comes to the loot generation.

Therefore also random generated/quality crafting (+ material) plus healthy economy would be nice to have. Additionally a rather deep class/skill system would probably make it perfect.

For anyone who doesn't really know what I mean by random generated gear.. it might be better just not to suggest/answer at all. Other than that I'd be glad to hear about any suggestions, since it seems very tough to find anything decent other than Mythos (annoying CS), or path of exile (not out yet).. and obviously D3...

Thanks in advance

There are probably tons of diablo-mmorpg clones out there, but most of them suck. I have several offline games, however, that may interest you:

Borderlands - FPS version of diablo, playable online

Hellgate: London- Another fps/third person rpg like diablo, the online server shut down so its Singleplayer only.

Torchlight - Diablo clone that is absolutely amazing, especially with mods. SP only

Sacred II- Gameplay is less intuitive and more repetitive than diablo (and that's saying something). Multiplayer is dead.

I just gave this recommendation in another thread but you could check out Regnum Online. Sounds to me like it would be a good match. Slap on some epic RvR PVP on that as well :)

The game that looks right up your alley would be Asheron's Call.  It has the best random loot system of anything I have ever seen, and while it is an old game, they have been adding things to it.  It also has a skill system where you pick and choose what you want etc.

If you never played this game in your tenure as an MMO player -- it behooves you to give it a try sometime as it is and always has been the apple to everyone elses orange.

What is odd is turbine is devoting as much time to this title as they are.  We are talking major updates over time where a game this old usually becomes an abandoned product.

If SOE gave vanguard the same amount of effort as Turbine gives to AC, people who play VG would not be complaining.

I second the asheron's call vote, that game keeps me coming back every few months.
