A friend said she wanted to see WoW since she saw the ads for Cat and the $5 pricetag for vanilla. I said I'd play, too, so she had company, but since it's been maybe 4 years since I played, I don't remember my login/pw and certainly didn't have the battle.net account then like it has now...
So we got the $5 deal, and my question is this... When/if we get the Cat expansion, does it unlock BC and WoTLK or will we have to buy those too?

You need to buy BC and Wotlk to install Cata, need all expansions

You'll need to buy each one, if you like the game i'd suggest getting them all now while on sale, otherwise they're like 30 bucks a pop.
