Could be interesting, but I was never a huge fan of Transformers. After how amazing Transformers:Beast Wars was... I just couldn't bring myself to watch the cartoon.
Let's hope they do this IP right... unlike just about all other MMOs based on IPs (here's looking at you Turbine..)
I expect it to come out right after Pokemon MMO

this could be a good MMORTS game, if they try to make it a 3D mmorpg it would be more like exteel and project of planets which werent good..... its just my opinion, unless this project lans in good hands like maybe Arena Net, Cryptic, or some other good ones.
yea i agree if its done right it will be awesome, i was a generation 1 fan but after watching the new series on the hub Transformers Prime i gotta say transformers prime is the new best series of the cartoon lore.

But yeah, the War for Cybetron was pretty neat, and if this game is unique and not a WoW knockoff it could work. Being able to upgrade your parts and such. It would need to be FPS though, I think.
Sadly, it'll probably just be a WoW cash in with "quests" and level caps and bs like that.
And hey, a Pokemon MMO would be fantastic.
I'm actually wondering if anyone saw the latest Jace Hall show, could it be that SOE might get into a Transformer MMORPG?
Based on the games war on cybertron 1 and 2 , i was prediction when a transformer MMO will come out.
But still its different creating a war on cybertron singleplayer and a full fledged content rich , class rich system based on Transformer , and also the audience of the game .

This could be good if done well, which is doubtful, and I still think they should go with the Beast Wars Transformers, but anywho.....a well made Pokemon MMO would pretty much blow the market away.

Go to Netdragon's website, take a look at the game's they have done in the past and then shed a tear for what this game will be like.
SOE needs to step in and take this big time.

Well, since they've taken up Bayformers in all likeliness, it MUST include:
#1 Random explosions in the background, in any scene, for the sake of... random explosions.
#2 Poorly lit, barely visible combat views / action.
#3 Racial slurs.
#4 A "Hot Chick" to swirl her finger through her hair out of boredom or to stick her a** out on the screen. Works in trying to cover up problems with the plot or to stire the boyz up if it takes long to get to the action.
#5 A bunch of human soldiers to shoot at Transformers with conventional small arms, with the humies knowing full well that those weapons don't work despite having several experiences of them not working at all.

I am still curious why a SOE studio has so many Transformer props all over the place, wouldn't suprise me if they are actually working on something Transformer related
