1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.
2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.
3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose.

It sucks and is not an MMO....So don't think so friend.
To be honest there really aren't many mmo's out there from a virtual world standpoint. Theres what Eve WoW LOTRO Ryzom Darkfal and Mortal Online are the only ones that come to mind that have open continents to explore.
Perhaps a vote could be placed ... IF the game was playable outside US and Canada. It is pretty pathetic from Nexon not to specify that the game at this stage is only playable in North America ... but hey .. this is Nexon. The game gets no votes from me as I cannot play it being from Europe, but if there was a -10 (minus) .. I would defo give it to Nexon. Pathetic player support, pathetic admin, pathetic common sense ... is there anything else?

sounds like you're dying to play the game then?
Im not sure you can fault the game because it hasnt been localized in your territory yet.
I cannot blame nor praise the game since I have not played it. Nexon however doesn't have a great reputation when it comes to the admin of their games ... apart from making them as profitable as possible.
yes the game need more rating. it's very fun to play and it's not like others conventionals MMOs. Hope there'll be more and more player who'll try it and rate it. I tried two class by now Evie and Fiona. I'll start a Lann tonigh. It's free so give it a try people!
I actually have played it now, despite not being USian or Canadian.
And the lagg tended to be neglegible, except when the host was on 28K analog modem or something like that.
There is certainly no internets speed reason for not allowing EUlings or other Europeans (or Eurocans like me and my countrymen) to connect to the NA version of the game. Unless they only have an ancient 16K modem and a 286 running Windows 3.11.

This game is totally playable outside of North America. See this post.
It you can't play it how do you know anything about player support or administration?
I think this game looks very interesting but my problem with it is the company that runs it. I do not like nexon as a publishing company and this game suffers from a lack of classes or characters at launch or so i hear. I would hate to run around looking like everyone else but thats just me. Maybe its a cool game but people begging for ratings on mmorpg doesnt make me think its one of those games everyone is so impressed with they are going to instantly rate it.
If your going to ban the trolls please for our sake ban the Fan Boys too.
its ok. nice for a F2P and look much beter than most P2P. if you want you standard mmo dont bother playing this you cant macro you atack strings and watch youtube with the game in the background lol. if you like dynasty Warriors you should like this its basicly a souped up dynasty warriors + a few extra atacks with destroyable enviorments ,graples and random ruble / enemy wepons you can pick up and use/ throw. oh yea secondary wepons like spears / bombs / grapleing hook / ! the grind isnt to bothersome and quest can give lots of xp.
the down sides... geting a specific drop to complete a quest or to get enough battle points to go to a new stage is a pain and some people dont listen and screw it up so you cant get the conditions done. the server (eastern) is some what unstable. there atempting to resolve it but its not beta anymore. gear can be overpriced now that the lvl cap is raised to lvl 44 so you watch new max lvls ruyning around in blood prince (3 pieces are equipable at lvl 26) over chargeing on it to try to buy nightmare gear at a 1 for 1 rate. you buy 1 blood prince curis the seller can buy 1 nightmare curis wtf.and you cant aford the set your the right lvl for and they still wear it....
its not all bad but the cash shop dont realy help with anything but geting more tokens faster.its a nice game but im glad i didnt pay for it . it could be worse and it could be Ncsoft instead of nexon as the publisher . why dont we ever get good localization and competent GM ingame suport / Bug fixes on Korean MMO's ported to the U.S?

Me no likey rating system. Me rated anyways.
Drop the next-gen marketing and people will argue if the game itself has merit.

they used to have it specified but the thread vanished from the forums
and they DO REALLY need to make it absolutely clear on the front page
But on the good news side of the things I hear the EU Beta is gearing up to start in December for Vindictus

Nexon does run a few other games which are available in EU. And, about the link in the other post you made ... not that keen on learning Korean.
Thanks for making to remember to give it 1, ignorant Nexon cares bout USA only.
