There's actually a lot more going on behind the scene than just translating when it comes to porting games.

And to OP, if I had to guess, I'd say that there might be a CBT by the end of December, otherwise somewhere around late-January. Don't take my word for it, I'm just using the time it took to release Mabinogi EU to somewhat guess the date for Vindictus EU.

Why would they even bother translating the game again?

It's not as if people in Europe are any worse at speaking English than the people in America.

I am assuming that Nexon is so strained financially that they will be unable to acquire the machinery for a continental European operation of the game. Which in itself is again hard to believe if it is true that the game is based on ptp system and not on centralized servers.

btw, if u are an European, and like to play these ip location restricted games.  download small app called hotspot shield, it masks ur IP address and thus u can play kind of games that u normally couldn't.

(tested it lil, like with project torque which came latter NA only when european version was released...without letting migrate accounts :D)

Why should they? European MMOs are all usually in english. AOC, EVE online - all had english as official language and only then localized versions appeared (years later)

I understand that you are eager to play the game, but the company is trying to be fully professional by translating the game.

Also, there are adjustments to the UI due to the lenght of the text strings.

Fingers crossed it will be available in the next couple of months.

    Cheers

Yeah, I imagine translating the game into English for the UK market is really holding them back.
