Will PvP server have safe "towns" or areas

If not, won't it just be pure chaos?

That's no fun. :

I am an old UO player where PvP was rampant, but you could chill in town and gather your thoughts, get your stuff together, and plan attacks. This is PvP at it's finest.

Having "regular/more PvE" servers and  "only pvp and nothing else" servers will be a huge disappointment and maybe a game killer. Pure PvP servers lack imagination/effort and are too chaotic to truly enjoy. They end up being more like "arcade" mode versions than legit games.

No real safe towns or areas other than the police headquarters and respawn points.  Guards are outside the police HQs, but they don't kill villains,  just knock them away.

I'll be rolling on both pvp and pve servers. With a fairly easy leveling curve you can level multiple toons casually quite easy. Best of both worlds.

I'm hoping PvP opens up on the PvE servers when it launches.  Right now when I flag on the PvE server,  I see villains attacking me all the time,  but they don't know how to flag so nothing happens.  I'd like to play on the PvE server,  but without an active PvP community, I think I'm stuck on the PvP server for the most part.

I love the PvP server, its tons of fun,  but I prefer to play pretty laid back sometimes but still progress my character.

I love PvP, but I prefer a bit of a ruleset too. Makes it sane, otherwise it's just like logging in to a First Person Shooter and killing everyone, it's fun for a while, but it takes away the immersion to me, which is the selling point to an MMO.

i'm on a pve at the momment....but i know if i was gonna pay for a scrip...i'd go full pvp......it just makes more sense...pve on this is more to me is like "hey learn the controls etc." and pvp...is what i think they were going for......making the world more like it should be....heroes and villians after each other's throats.

In a month all but the most casual should have a couple toons at 30. Just keep one on the pvp server for when ya want your fix. Who knows there could be a PvE server with loads of PvP action.

Started a toon in beta on the pvp server and right out the gate I'm getting ganked lol. Don't know if this is working as intended but with a release date not far from now I'm assuming it pretty much is. Wouldn't mind so much but since people can fly from the start etc. there is no way to see where the attacks are coming from when you are already in the middle of a mission working on a few mobs. I usually prefer pvp servers but not so sure on this one yet.

Curently PvP is broken, first of alot of the pvp folks use a bug (background macro exploting a block bug)

then there are other folks who got to lvl up and now are camping the newb first mission right outsite the "main gates"  meaning you cant progress, unless you kill 1-5k mobs to gain a level :P

I hope their is no safe towns.. Honestly i find it very restrictive.. IMO AION did PVP right.. Open PvP that you can PvP anywhere.. But in towns throw in High lvl guards that give the pvpers a challange.. Some of the best times i had pvping in games where inside towns lol.

I hope they don't change it xD i love chaos!
