Will you be rolling on a PvP server at launch?

I rolled on a regular pve server and it was fun. Then I rolled another character on a pvp server and it made my super hero experience alot more fun. At launch I'll be rolling on a pvp server playing on the ps3. Who else will be rolling on a pvp server at launch ?

No, I'll be going PVE. I'll try PVP down the line.
I usually jump right into pvp... going strait for the throat with a pvp server at launch. But this time I will be kicking back on a PvE server. The storyline development is just to good to mess with PvP for me at the start. I'm quite sure once I run the content through once or twice, that I'll migrate over to a pvp server as fodder for all the higher level toons running around.
Hell yes I'll be playing on the PvP server. It's not even that hardcore, yet it's friggin awesome. I can't imagine being on the PvE ones after tasting how it works in this game.
AoC made me think about switching over to a PvE from Tyranny a couple times, because it seriously became a hassle, but in this one you aren't set back more than the 20-30 seconds it takes to get back to where you were.

I'm usually a PvE player for most MMOs... but as this is more skill based combat and much less time - intensive - I'm rolling PvP. Everything I'm doing now is just practice
Whether it be DCU, Rift, AoC, etc. I'll always roll PvP server for the massively-multiplayer events, suspense and surprise that is often dull and pve-tiring on a PvE server.
So, I guess that's a yes

Nope for a very simple reason. I went to get into game and immerse myself in world of superheroes. FFA PVP between superheroes makes a little sense. However, if it was only between superheroes and villains i would love to roll on PVP server. For me its a superhero game first and PVP later.
Who could have thought that WOW could bring super power like USA to its knees?

Thats how it is right now.
As I beleive it will stay it this way, I will be playing on pvp server again.

I'm not usually a pvp lover but for me a big part of this game should be the battles between the super heroe and villains. I look forward to fighting other people that made their super powers, just the idea alone is really cool. I think its funny because people on the forums are saying theres a lack of content in the end game right now, I think they should pvp.
I'm playing pve right now level 15, I chose pve just because I wanted to play the game and learn it, check it out and all that and I do regret not having chose the pvp server first.

pve is your practice, pvp is imo what the actual game is.....i'm on pve for the beta....just to give the thing a dry run...if i end up buying this i'd without a doubt be on a pvp server......what's the fun in being a superpowered ass-kicker if you're not out kicking someone's ass?

I was getting constant game crashes one day and trying to enjoy the content of the game and I got ambushed by 3 level 20s while I was fighting lowly lvl 6 baddies, KO"d, went back to the mission site and crashed again. Ya, too many gankers already.

For me, I love PvP and will be on a PvP server. No point buying a game and missing out on what is has to offer.
PvP. In beta I jumped a lvl 20 as a lvl 10. I swooped in and attacked first before realizing what lvl he was. I lost but I got him down to 1/4 of health left. Not to bad and no, he wasn't just standing there or afk.
This action oriented MMO for PvP is a blast! Nice job SOE.
To be honest I can't even imagine a world where villians and heroes pass each other in the streets without so much as a hostile glance at one another. I was on the PVE server and every time I saw a hero I wanted to jump them! I'm on the PVP server and yes, there is some ganking, but as pops increase and guilds become more prevelant there will be backup and revenge-ganks which will make it fun.
So far I've had 4 pvp battles with toons my own ranks and 1 with a much higher toon (that I jumped just to see). Good fun. I am, however, a sworn-pvp'er and wouldn't play if there wasn't the option so ya, I'm rolling pvp.
