I know I read there will not be crafting but is there any type of auction house etc. for uneeded drops etc?

I think I heard that there wasn't going to be crafting right off the bat, but that SOE was looking for a way to implement it so that it would complement the lore, rather than stick out like a sore thumb or an out-of-place feature. It's unusually difficult to place a crafting system in a super hero game and have it fit.
Batman might have sold his stuff if the world and Gotham were full of heroes on his side that might use them.

I hope there is no player to player economy. Crafting should be for personal use only.
This. I don't think I've ever seen Batman sell his goodies!
Batman doesn't make and sell superpower goods, but he does own Wayne Industries which sells stuff. Tony Stark makes weapons and sells them to the government. Superman and Spiderman make headlines and sell them to newspapers.

this is a good theory, but at one point the justice league had a slew of people in it and he kept alot of his tech to himself still....he has always had...trouble trusting people lol. in a world full of heroes i believe he'd be more apt to keep alot...but he'd probably realize the greater threat and give out wehat he thought he'd be willing to part with. if they DO make crafting i still stand by the idea theat there should be 2 kinds of crafting.....a "hands on" type, where you make and use and possibly sell the tech you make, or a "benefactor" type, where you find components and have an npc character make you something from listed recipies....if you want a crafted item but don't like crafting.....they could even have the npc charge depending on the difficulty or rarity of the item.

There is an auction house, yes.

Auction House (Market as they call it) yes, crafting no.
