So, which MMOs did you play in 2010 (meaning at least a few weeks)?
In that list of yours, which one did you play the most?
And which one was the most fun?
And finally, which ones will you play in 2011?
Comments
World of Warcraft - will play for little while longer, probably until Rift comes out then no more
Lord of the Rings Online - most played - will continue to play - most fun
City of Heros - always good for a week or two every now and then
Champions - no more
Final Fantasy XIV - NO
Warhammer Online - nope
I'm not a MMO-hopper after all.
Final Fantasy XI ~ From Jan to Aug.
Final Fantasy XIV ~ July to Oct & Dec
Dabbled in a few others like WoW this past month, EQIIX, LOTRO, Vanguard...etc
As far as 2011 goes, I'm looking forward to the radical updates and changes coming to both XI and XIV with the new Producer/Director. I got to play Rift in beta 3 and confirmed I won't be playing that, SW: TOR is still just meh, but if I get a chance to try it in an open beta I will but doubt I'll sub to it. Guild Wars II looks interesting, and I may get it since there is no sub and have something to dabble in from time to time. And pretty much everything else is still meh as well, until more solid info is avail.
Played World of Warcraft from January - August. After August, I quit WoW and went from game to game until I had a brief stint in FFXIV. After a couple weeks in FFXIV, I quit MMORPGs again until Cataclysm was released, which is the game I'm currently subscribed to.
I can see myself playing WoW until Rift releases or perhaps even until the release of SW:ToR or GW2, but I just can't justify starting anything in any older MMORPGs with all the new releases coming out in a matter of months.
Here comes the question that's 10 times more important for all you dudes on this site:
Which one will you still play in 2012?
I played LOTRO for almost whole 2010 casually. I liked it a lot. I first bought it in 2008 but left it for wotlk. End 2009 I was bored of wow so I went back to LOTRO. I will keep playing it in 2011 I'm a lifetimer annyway. However I haven't played it that mush the past few weeks.
I'm planning on returning to wow to try out cataclysm. Haven't played it for more then a year now. I quit because of the community. And because I did everything I could do within my playstyle. I'm casual and I just didn't fit in those 'omghaxorpwnage'-hardcore raiding guilds. My server was filled with that. So my plan is to just go back, lvl my toons to 85, I might roll a goblin or something, doing some normal dungeons, maby some heroics, and maby some 10 raiding on normal mode and some pvp, as long as I find it fun.
During 2010 I also played some guild wars again with a friend. Playing with someone you know is fun. I quit cause he quit with guildwars. But if he goes back I might do that aswell.
I bought global agenda on steam for 6 euros last week. But I haven't found the time to play it yet, so that's also planned for 2011.
I bought way to mush games on steam for just a few euros last week... lol.. I don't know when I will play these.. I hope I played them al before 2015 or someting
edit: and I tried some f2p's and other games like: runes of magic, WAR, Dungeons and dragons, chronicles of spellborn(rip), ...I can't remember what else. I never stayed there for longer then a few days
The only 2 games on my list for 2011 that I might buy are portal2 and guildwars2
that's about it

waiting for ... nothing..
Played in 2010:
Anarchy Online
AoC
Aion
Perfect World
Will Play in 2011:
Anarchy Online
My god has horns.... nah, I don't think he is real either.
like a few folks i did the lotro>wow>lotro thing. I did not play any other mmo for more than a few weeks. I did run through the f2p list out of sheer boredom. eventually ended up going console to scratch the scifi game itch.
this year im looking foward to the game that plesantly suprises me with a clean launch.
I will most likely give swtor and rift a try. if those fail ill be heading back to the aptly named console till something else comes along that peaks my intrest.
WoW - Sticking with it until Rift, then making a (hopefully) permanent switch. Still solid, still good.
Vanguard - Great, but lost a lot of appeal when I realised there was no hope of a an endgame (no updates, so few players.)
Darkfall - Manually dragging shit to the vendor to sell and having to click for every attack made it unplayable at the time since my fingers were giving my gyp. Would like to try again but don't think I'd last long playing it.
EQ2 - Boring combat, horrible immersion from the UI; no thanks.
LOTRO - Massive waste of money (even though my lifetime sub was only £75 :O) Starts off fun but then just gets duller and duller; art style is a massive turn-off and the combat feels sluggish and jerky at times.
Rift - Loved Betas 1&3; Guardian faction was a massive turn-off for me though, really didn't like their opening so just gave up on beta 2. Will be playing, but I've reservations about the community (full of morons who can't read and don't give useful feedback, just want to make it more like EQ2/UO/WoW Classic rather than being its own game) and class system at endgame (i.e. I can't play my role as I want to because there'll be ONE TRUE SETUP and nothing else will be tolerated.)
RIFT was a *crushing* disappointment; a shallow, loveless, generic MMO the likes of which hasn't been seen in a P2P format since, well, forever.
Eagerly awaiting: World of Darkness, ArcheAge.
In 2010. WoW, Aion, Allods Online, Runes of Magic.
In 2011. Currently downloading dynasty warriors online, seems like nice game, so I'm gonna give it a try.

2010 Daoc - Aion - FFII
2011 Rift
DF,Aoc ,Ddo,Wow
Will try Rift gw2 in 11
I played the F2P version of EQ2 for 5-6 months and then I deleted my char and uninstalled the game from my harddrive.
I'm waiting for Earthrise and maybe later on for Fallout Online and I might try Guild Wars 2 if Earthrise turns out to be buggy as hell.
I played LOTRO, AoC, WoW, STO and Champions Online listed in order from most played to least played. Right now I'm messing around with Cataclysm a bit and will probably be playing LOTRO again after I've had my fill of WoW again. I'm eager to play SW:TOR and that's about it so far for 2011.
CoH on and off all year.. actually on and off for 6 years. A classic that just keeps getting deeper. Played some Global Agenda early on, but havent touched it in months.
Got in the beta for DC Universe Online. Loved it for about 2 hours, then the ugly started showing through. Shallow game with a PC UI cut down and destroyed to make it fit for consule play. Just... awful. No way to play the roles, no way to manage agro when you play tank, so team dies. The Devs crippled power regen to force teaming with Controller roles, so Healers have no power, so team dies. Controllers... well.. just ugly.. and team dies. :P Stay away from DCOU folks, it's a mess of bad game design, crashes, bugs and one of the worst UIs in the history of MMOs.
World of Tanks beta has been a blast. I will be buying this game when it comes out. If you like tanks, and like MMOs it's a very neat combo of the two.
Mainly LOTRO and ROM, with some STO (might as well make use of my Lifetime Sub mistake)
This year its looking like TOR and probably Earthrise since i'm tired of fantasy and need a bit of Sci-Fi.
Will probably also pickup GW2 since its BTP
GW: is fun
Rift: not fun
EQ: ok until EQNext
WoW: ok
Collector's editions are scams.
For 2010 i was mainly playing EQ2 and some WOW every now and then. For 2011 it will be Rift and GW2. I am fascinated by SWTOR but i prefer GW2 over it. Maybe play SWTOR for couple of months and take a break and check it back every few months. But GW2 and Rift will be my main games for 2011.
Who could have thought that WOW could bring super power like USA to its knees?

Im picking on WoW btw because its the beast that made all of this possible
Started last year on potbs and D&D online. Have also played lotro, wow, aion, aoc and zentia.
Very much looking forward to anything new but especialy tor and gw2.
LotrO, DDO and Global Agenda
will keep playing thoose this year since none of the MMOs coming this year interest me.
If WoW = The Beatles
and WAR = Led Zeppelin
Then LotrO = Pink Floyd
Guild Wars till GW2 come out
Currently playing: Elder Scrolls Online
MMORPG experiences:EQ2, AoC(pre f2p), Lotro,GW1,DDO, Aion,WoW( stop with wotlk),Allods, GW2
Eu,War, Secret World
Waiting On: WoD Sometime Maybe: Elder Scrolls MMO, Might and Magic
Darkfall...2010.....Darkfall...2011
2010: None. I stopped playing Vanguard at the end of 2009 and no other MMO attracted me.
2011: We'll see. I have a certain number of MMOs on my list, maybe one of them gets released ?: Star Wars: The Old Republic, World of Darkness Online, EverQuest 3, maybe Guild Wars 2
Started the year playing EVE, finally stopped around August after 3 + years and gave Fallen Earth a few months only to return to WOW after a 4 year hiatus to give Cataclysm a whirl.
For 2011, most likely will try Rift, GW2, and SWTOR assuming they release.
I'll keep trying MMO's until I find one I enjoy.

It is interesting to note that in all the other answers so far apart this one, several games for 2010 have been listed ...
I guess Darkfall can be very addictived for those who like it !
