Rift: Beta 4 Announced

Trion Worlds and the Rift development team have announced that the fourth beta event will begin on January 7th with a level cap increase to 25 and the opening of the PvP 'Warfront' maps. In addition, players participating in the beta event will have the opportunity to win a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460.

As conflict grows increasingly brutal, the Warfronts of Telara call for champions to take arms and stain the earth with enemy blood. Will you join the Guardians and follow the will of the Vigil to salvation, or fight as a Defiant to usher in an age of techno-magical dominance?

Play to win! Participate in any Warfront and you could be eligible to win an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 video card!

    This just keeps getting BETTER .... This may seperate the Men From the Boys with "  the opening of the PvP 'Warfront' maps". I think this is where we start to get to the Meat and Potatoes of this game. ROCK ON RIFT TEAM ROCK ON!!!!!!

    Not so unique. Lots of overlap in souls (skill trees) also ironicaly not much synergy amongst others. Some play reasonably others don't. For my money that's one of the areas that need most work.

    Oh thank god a new beta! I don't wanna play anything else. Yes i know there is nothing new in Rift but it was FUN!!... yes... FUN. I dont care how innovative or original an mmo is. All i care is that there is a good RP community and I have fun. So far Rift wins on both counts :)

    I have an extra beta invite key, if anyone wants it, courtesy of Nvidia.  I don't need it since I have my VIP from Fileplanet.  First person to email me on this site gets it.

     

    P.S.  Be sure to include the email address you want me to forward to as it will have not only the number, but the directions for setting up a Rift account.

     

    Congrats to Pgrimm, who beat the next person by 4 minutes.

    Why couldn't they give us the possibility to start with lvl 20, so that we don't have to go through the beginning areas again.

     I've been in all 3 beta events, they never deleted any of my toons.  We should be able to resume where we left off.

     Wow. I posted this at 10:30, but didn't check my e-mail. At 8:50 I got a Beta invite from NVIDIA. You might have a good shot to get an invite if you sign up for NVIDIA's newsletter...

    Good, we finally get to see some PvP, I'll be jumping into that right away.

    I was very disappointed that the last beta closed off the hostile zone on my server, leaving me with re-iterating the same content, even though there were some noticeable improvements.

    Feel free to use my referral link for SW:TOR if you want to test out the game. You'll get some special unlocks!

    Another beta, wow that is great one more chance for me and the girlfriend to try the faster internet connection B4 we buy our preorder lol... we would love another shot at it, the rifts ohh my! That's just all I can say, jst Great...

    Yup you will get an e-mail from Trion letting you know if you got in.

     

    I'm very excited about this event, 5 more levels and warfronts :D

    I'm not sure I would have wanted to play this one if I had to sit another 3 days at lvl 20
