Makes No Sense

in Star Wars Galaxies

I have been playing a free trial, for the first time since I played this game before the NGE.  I have to say that although it's still got it's moments... the game doesn't feel at all like an immersive world anymore.  It makes no sense.  Why are there Jedi everywhere in a time, what, around ESB?  I knew this was the case, but it is more apparent when you log-in and everyone is rolling a Jedi.  Then you throw in some of the other odd choices they have made and it feels more like you are just logging into a Star Wars theme park at Disney World or something.  It looks like SW but it's just a place to buy merchandise from all the movies.  There's so much stuff mixed in here that doesn't make sense.  I kind of wish it was just about the rebels versus the imperials.  Obviously at this point it can't be.  But it bums me out because I remember, though vaugely, what it was like in the beginning.

    its a game, relax.  Too many nubs get all bothered over a few continuity compromises.

    It's not like Jedi really exist, or that time period really existed, or those planets,etc.  it's make believe and subject to change.

    Don't get all worked up over it.

    oh and 'in the beginning' we had no space.  did that make sense?

    I just resubbed and never I have seen so few jedi in my SWG history XD (I think part is because appearance clothes/armor)

    I started a new toon in Farstar, so there is way more ppl than my old server Radiant.
