Where can I download the game?!?

Ok, I had already went to the terrible pre-purchase experience, where Sony had me a big favor in not accepting a newly-created Station account for some reason (luckly I got to have a very old one, from my brief everquest times and yet another terrible experience) and just received their mail today informing me that they would be charging me for the pre-ordered game and went to activate my subscription to get the game.

Activated it, and in the last step they provided me a link to download the game.... ehich presented an error message!!! and now, there's nowhere in their stupid site that I can try to download the DC Online game or launcher!!!

I even tried to download the Station launcher, but guess what/ The DC is NOT listed there...

Maybe some Sony old time subscribers can help me with this. Thanks.

I had my preorder set through the Station servince, but got nervous last night when I hadn't recieved any email with download instructions, nor could I find any links on their site to download, so I canceled my order and ordered through Steam. Started downloading immediately and I'm all set for launch

To bad for me I live in Brazil, and dear Sony doesn't realease the game thorugh Steam sale in my country.

I'll probably end up cancelling my subscription... to bad again that US doesn't have a consumer's rights code as complete as the one we got here, otherwise they would have to refund me for the game purchase as well (even claiming as non-refundable all products and services are granted a 30 period when the customer can return or cancel if he/she doesn't feel it was attended properly)

I just hope we had a official position other than buy it from Steam... Steam is a very decent platform (i have several games on it) but Sony should honor their commitment to their customers.

lol the same thing happend to me and i have no clue how to work it out its the dumbest thisng i ever seen...

to bad steam dont take my credit too... now im stuck till the customer support go live and that alone will cost me alot....

if any one finds a sulotion your welcome to tell...

It may not be available in Brazil yet. From the DCUO FAQ:

DC Universe Online will be available beginning on Tuesday January 11, 2011. In the US, the game will be available for purchase beginning on January 11, 2011 at all major games retailers as well as through digital download purchase of the PC version through several popular digital download stores including STEAM®, IGN Direct2Drive® and the SOE.com Station store.

DC Universe Online will also be available throughout Europe and other international territories the same week with the official launch in the UK and Ireland on January 14, 2011, and across Europe, Asia and Africa on January 12, 2011 with Italy launching on January 19, 2011. DC Universe Online will ship in Australia on January 20, 2011.

There is no specific mention of Brazil, but it may in "other international territories." I'm in Asia, so I will probably have to wait till tomorrow. I want to buy from Steam, but they said it's "not currently" available in my region. Hopefully it will be up tomorrow.

It might be the region thingy?! i wonder please state your country if you have the same problem im from israel and that asia too so the game will be realed tomorrow but still they said they will give the key and client after you pay i just dont get it....

I've just altered my subscription to be able to get the link again, thinking it would probably be something browser related (I was using chrome the first attempts and now using ie)

It's just hilarious that the message bellow states me that I will receive an email with the link to download.

The installer is only 8meg I'm sure there are torrents for it, then you d/l through that.

It hasn't been added to sony launcher yet but you can activate it via the launcher options/activation, not much help if you can't then dl it. I guess it'll just be a matter of time, their launcher is handy for all game sign one place but it rarely gets any attention.

d2d keys have been sent, just activating now.

I've just send you the link to the one I got in a PM and hope it helps. Since I confess not knowing if it's allowed to post a external link in these forums I haven't posted it here yet.

I don't believe it's a region related block, just lousy code at the Sony website.

I just hope that the game development has nothing to do with the customer support or website support teams, otherwise the game will be a disappointment.
