A rather limited set of options in your poll. I'm sure there are a lot of people would fall somewhere between the two extremes of either loving or hating the game.
Don't beat around the bush. Either you like it or you don't. It's not a hard poll.
i always like a comical third option, but yeah, that'll do pig. that'll do.
I like it. Wasn't a fan as much during the beta, but i got myself a controller and man, it's a whole new experience.
you need at least 5 options in the poll
It is a hard poll.
I played in beta and enjoyed the beta however I saw no longevity in it so whilst liking the game I still didnt buy it nor will.
A Hyundai Excel sucks. A brand new Hyundai Excel for 20 bucks is sweet!
Same here. DCU:O with a sub sucks. B2P? Then we might have something good.
Game is so limited, shallow and bug filled that I wouldn't be surprised to see it crash hard and go the F2P cash shop model in a few months. Why not wait till then?
Offcourse, thats the majorrity of players... but those are forced to make a choice this way...

you are on the wrong site for subjective or non biased polls. 90% of the voters have never played and will vote on their feelings rather than experience.
Can you tell me one website that only has totally objective users on the whole internet?

I like the game. I have found on here however that if it isn't what they want then a majority of the people here hate it. If it isn't PC only they hate it. If it isn't traditional they hate it. If it isn't mind blowing out of this world over the top they hate it.
"You think this "A" stands for France?" Captain America
[ ] I am not playing so far, but show me the poll results
My brand new bloggity blog.
I agree, it will always br subjective. It would probably be better to say it is less reliable here due to the level of negativity towards all new games this past year or two. Very jaded crowd overall.
I voted in the positive for it. I think what it boils down to is that this game was created for console gamers and since of course the vast majority of MMORPG gamers are PC gamers it becomes a love or leave it phenomenon.
I voted that I hated it but only because it was the only negative option. For what it is, this is an incredibly solid and unique action-based MMORPG, with the only real problem being the fact that the overland quests seem extremely repetitive.
I just couldn't take playing that game for long periods of time due to the button mashing combat system.
I definitely don't like it, but I don't hate it either. I don't like the control scheme and I don't like the console style combat. I have always disliked combo style, simon says press this when I say so combat. I like the archtypes for the most part, but they're incredibly limited. I like the way they implemented travel powers into combat and how they feel, I don't like only having 3 options. I enjoyed the animations and the graphics were okay. Solo combat was terribly difficult for heroes without self heals as villains tended to gang up on ya and respawn rates were extremely fast. The cities felt dead, very few civilians walking around and only a few cars on the roads. The stories were pretty cool as were the voiceovers.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but Champions Online had more depth, options and more appropriate combat for a MMORPG.
Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.
Loving it. it's a great change of pace. Will i be playing in 6 months? No probably not. It's one of those games i'll play for a month, maybe 2 and then cancel. If they keep their promise with regular content updates i'll come back in 6 months and play for another month, and repeat.
I wish it had more power sets, the choices are too limited. Fire or ice, hmmmm how about radiation? electricity? etc. It was hard to make a character because i wasn't all that jazzed about the powers.

I voted "hated" it, although in reality, I'm just disappointed with the game. Perhaps it will improve rather than degenerate into Shadowrun. Iin the mean while, I can get my superhero fix from re/playing Arkham Asylum, Freedom Force ("Fooooor Freedom!"), Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and CoH.
Didn't vote. Super-Hero games don't sound appealing to me.
On the other side, I'm hearing good things about the combat.
Didn't really follow the game that much, so it surprised me and I ended up really liking it. Except the terrible community.
He should have put a "Have not played it" in the poll. I had to pick one just to see what the consensus was.....
My theme song.
It says it is time to vote for those people that played the game....
So you just should not have voted.....

because anyone who has played the game for 1 day has to either love or hate it right?
I think a lot of the posts in response to the OP are a little misconstrued. Its not a question of "Do you like the game for the 200 dollar lifetime subscription?" or "Do you not like the game because there is a subscription."
Its, whether you like the game or not. A lot of what we're hearing is "Yes the games fun, but its not worth ..."
Which sounds like "I like the game but I'm not willing to pay ..."
Of COURSE if the game had no monthly fee people would like it MORE. People would love cars more if they never had to pay for gas and repairs too. Its like saying I don't like a ferrari because the costs are too high. Of course I like the car, it just wouldn't be worth the money to buy it (if.. y'know, I had the money to buy it).
So while a lot of people want to put stipulations on what it takes for them to like it cost wise, that doesn't change the fact that they either played it and enjoyed the time (with stipulations .. or without) or didn't like the time they spent.
