Looking for PC Co-Op similar to Hellgate/Borderlands

As title states, a friend and I loved playing both these games together. I'm looking for anything similar, the longer the game the better, we love looking for randomized rare loot. Doesn't have to be a shooter but we have liked both of the prior shooters so if there are any could someone advise?

    Go for the source! Play Diablo II!

    If you have (and most people have), go look up other diablo clones with co-op. I.E. sacred 2, Titan Quest, and the forthcoming mythos and Diablo III. If you crave something more action-y, then I'm afraid I don't have anything to share. There's a rumor about a borderlands 2, but so far it's not concrete.

    Not due out until Spring 2011, but I think TORCHLIGHT II would fit your bill. Its done by some of the designers who did DIABLO (like Bill Roper who did Hellsgate). The first game was a pretty good Single Player hack and slash, the sequel will add CO-OP play. Best thing is that since its considered a "budget" title it shopuld cost something like $20.
