I love Guild Wars and WoW both and dont feel the need to compare the two, but you say GW a new style of game? First off learn to spell and for seconds tell me ONE thing that guild wars has that no other game has. What? Yeah I thought so. Nada. I love GW but I also love the truth.

Guild wars just simple does not have that & compare, it's nice, but dont expect it to cover-up one of the greatest real mmorpgs. Guild Wars deserver a 7 and a remove from this website.

i have played both games and both are good, but i have to say guildwars is better because their is more to do and is far more addicting. the races in guildwars are totally different between eachother so you can always be occupied with new characters and playin around. where as WoW their all similar so once you have done 1 race you have done them all .
Personally I think that guild wars is better. Even though it is not a true mmorpg, ncsoft even says its an "online rpg", that was not the goal of this game. Something original and different from all the other games currently out there is what guild wars strives to be. In that aspect they have succeeded.
I have played wow along with numerous other mmorpgs and I enjoy guild wars very much. The fact that guild wars has no subscription fee makes it that much better. I am not saying that wow is a bad game, it is a lot of fun as well, however I have been playing guild wars instead of wow.

All combat zones, quests etc. completely being instanced is something different from other games.. streaming patches with no server downtime. The 8 skill limitation before entering combat.. some pvp game variations you don't see in morpg's (although I don't knwo exactly what battlegrounds is adding into WoW).
My advice, all of you WoW people get off this form, say Wow is the winner, and leave the guildwars disscussion free of this "crap" taht your just your opnion is better, becuase in the end they are just games that offer diffrent kinds of enjoyment . . . from the polls clearly we are in a Pro-GW (not George W) atmospheare, we dont want the game to be burned here . . So go back to your forms and have a "pep" rally, becuase personally, I think your here just for a quarl

WoW was and is still too open to hacking, I made a lvl 60 mage in a few days using exploits.

I like them equally actually, I got problems in GW and problems in WoW and it pretty much makes them equal.
i like them both but i have to admit GW is better

prior to release, the guild wars community was pretty much mature until all the kids from WoW, Bnet and other MMo found about guild wars being free...
