Yea it sure looks cool, you did an amazing job on it.

32" hdtv and a keyboard good for coding. Gaming is rarely done at the desk on this pc lately, mostly playing games on my bed with a gamepad.

    Onkyo TX-SR601 Reciever

    BeyerDynamic DT770 Pros

Polk Audio Monitor 30 Series II (And some polk 10" sub)

    DECK Legend / Razer Deathadder

Custom built desk, computer.. Used to water cool (Black and white case) but I switched back to air.. Also built a case meant for watercooling by hand over the summer. Working with metal is fun :D. Never finished it, though.

Sorry for the low quality of the first pic.. That build was last year and I lost the "real" pic in a reformat, only place I found it online was as my avatar on overclock.net.

    And so  is this.

Might aswell throw this in my great 2010 beef jerky order LOL,thats what I lived on when building that computer ;)

thafireball, how do you like that setup? I'm thinking about using my old 19" lcd for work and browsing once again and the hdtv for movies and games only, so I'm thinking of either putting the tv right above the monitor or putting it on the opposite wall in my room (wil need a long cable for this, kinda worried about picture quality or response time)

    Any ideas, suggestions?

Wanted to do a lot more but I was on a budget for an apartment and stuff. But I'm pretty content. 3 monitors would be nice though. Or a really big one. But here it is. My Bloodlust AMD build. Specs are on forum signature.

Took about a month to build most annoying was the individual sleeving tedious and frickin boring as hell :p

3fan Rad tucked away inside on the top and 2 fan rad on the back along with a chiller stuck in the inside front.

Sweet. I had originally installed a Corsair H50 on my CPU and it leaked onto my MOBO, the pcie slots, video cards and  on bottom of case only a few days after build. I was freaking out. Cleaned it up and let it dry for a few days. Luckily everything still worked. I still like water cooling even though my V6 keeps it under 55°c under full load clocked a 4GHz. But I'm going to actually build it myself this time. But for now I'm just happy that it survived.

    Bad rig.

You're totally right. It's a horrible computer. I've been playing the latest and greatest games fully maxed out with it for the past 3 years and going but it's completely horrible in every way, shape and form. troll more

It's not a bad rig at all.

My rig is a bit more powerful, but it has the Q6600 overclocked to 3.06 and it runs anything I can throw at it at max settings easily. This is a very under-rated processor, mainly because it's cheap and a quad, but it matches my other dual core (E8600, not overclocked though, this is a beast if you clock it) which certain "reputable" overclockers claim should eat it alive while gaming.

Ok, I have 1600 DDR3 (8 gig), A GTX280 and 700w PSU, but it still uses the same chip.

Another point is the RAM, people (read: trolls) turn their noses up at DDR2, if it's not DDR3 or DDR5 it's "bad", which is nonsense. Same for the PSU, some people think a small PSU is bad, which again is nonsense, as long as it's enough to juice the puppy, it's all good. Personally i think often a persons PSU is like a hardware e-peen, whoever has the biggest is the best....obviously :)

Just a footnote, don't overclock it unless you know what your doing and have the right mobo/heatsink/fan combo to make it work and keep it cool. I burnt one of these chips out a while back and an E8500 not long after screwing around trying to squeeze every bit of juice out of it (yes, i realise this was really really stupid). Had the Q6600 OC'd to 3.06 for 2 years now without any hiccups.

Expresso gave me a Hearthstone beta key.....I'm so happy :)

Personally I like seeing all different kinds of setups. From the smoking new, visually appealing to the underpowered clunkers that still manage to run games. Hey. If it's all you have, then it's at least enough to play MMOs.........hopefully. Actually I'm thinking about building a decently spec'd PC in a f$%^ up case. Maybe  a cheap steel one and drop it from my window, back my truck into it, hit it with some tree limbs and let it sit out in the rain, wipe it out after it dries, install my parts and write in sharpie, "Who needs a side window when you have half the side panel missing?" Maybe take a hatchet a couple of times to the top to allow more ventilation. I can see it now. Damn.

How do some of you wire your cases so well?  I've used modular power supplies while hiding the cords behind the motherboard tray using tie wraps and everything and it ever comes out like some of these.  These computers look like they dont have any wires in them at all and I dont get it!

I guess wiring is just not my forte.
