Dead Space 2 --- PC or PS3 or Xbox?

Which offers the best experience? Steam only seems to list the system requirements, which seem very reasonable, recommended specs are not shown though.

My current PC:

Core 2 Duo @ 2.53Ghz

ATI 3870 X 2   half gig each

4gig ddr3

its a laptop don't tell me to upgrade!

or of course the PS3 or Xbox

I would go with one of the console versions and looking at your PC specs it is graphical wise the best choice. But the main reason I would get on the console of your choice is because games like this play so much better on the couch or in bed on a large screen with big sound. I will get it for the ps3 and will play it in my bed at night, awesome :P

I think you should choose consoles rather than a PC because you could feel the difference once you have gotten to the game.

The ownage of keyboard and mouse takes away the horror.

Another thing to consider would be the fact that PC verisons of Dead space 2 aren't getting DLC support. so... We kinda got screwed there.

    Currently Playing: LoL,EVE, Rift

    Future Games: WH40K:DM, Tera Planetside2

    Past Games Ive tried:
WoW, FE, AoC, WAR, LotRO, Tabula Rasa,GW, and Many F2P games.

Well the first Dead Space was totally horrid on the PC, literally a console port and many problems. I did finished the second one on the PC tho, it's much better but I still think it's a game made for consoles.

Ok dont get it on ps3 for 1 reason it only runs at 720p and the 360 problem is when you want to play online in multiplayer you have to have a gold acount, But i got it on pc and it is awsum just plug in a 360 gamepad and your set, also the pc version does have DLC as on mine it says new content available but got to buy it.

I have this game on my ps3 and you can really feel the tense of the game. The graphics and the sounds, it always gives me an adrenaline rush eventhough I know its hard to aim on a dual shock controller thats why I am pissing of steam when ever I've been hit by this creatures. I haven't seen the game in the 2 platforms. Just choose whatever is convenient for you for gameplay. I still prefer PS3 for this game.

  • Does anyone know if the PC version is missing certain things? I'm on my second playthrough, and there are a bunch of upgraded suits that are supposed to be in particular chapters, and I can't find them at all. All the guides I've read have been for consoles, so I'm wondering if they were left out of the PC version for some reason.

PC for MMO's and exclusives, console for everything else.  it's your choice though.
