Consume fruits like apples and bananas on an empty stomach. Preparing a milkshake of banana with honey can provide immediate relief from a hangover. Eat cereal, bread, bacon sandwich or any other food that is rich in carbohydrates. This will increase the blood sugar and bring the stomach back to normal. Bouillon soup is another effective way to remove a hangover as it helps in restoring the potassium and salt levels in the body.

So from next time onwards take care before you drink alcohol. Keep sipping orange juice during your drinks and consume lot of water prior to drinking. This will prevent the occurrence of hangover. And try to drink less, no matter what the occasion is. After all your health is very important and only you can take good care of it!

Here are some remedies after too much drinking:

    · Take Vitamin C as it may increase the rate of alcohol breakdown in the body.

    · Alcohol causes dehydration, so drink plenty of water. Also drink fruit juices and tomato juice.

    · Bouillon soup or sports beverages (i.e. Gatorade) may help replace depleted salt and potassium.

    · Try a cold pack to relieve headache pain.

    · For a headache, take acetaminophen unless you have known liver disease or drink heavily and, therefore, may be at risk for liver disease.

    · Alcohol consumption can irritate your stomach lining so avoid aspirin and ibuprofen since they may only serve to increase this irritation.

    · For an upset stomach, try an over-the-counter antacid. Peppermint and chamomile tea may also help.

Prevention of the hangover in the future

    · Never drink on an empty stomach. Food helps to absorb some of the alcohol and aids the body in digesting it faster.

    · Try to eat starchy foods to slow down the alcohol absorption.

    · Limit yourself to less than 1 drink per hour.

    · Try to alternate your alcoholic drinks with nonalcoholic beverages such as water.

    · Stick to non-carbonated drinks as carbonation can speed up the alcohol absorption.

    · Try to avoid sweet drinks (and sugary foods) while you drink. The sweet taste of the drink can make it difficult for you to judge how much alcohol you’re actually consuming.

    · Be sure to choose drinks with low levels of congeners (light drinks such as white wines, gin, and vodka) – these are additives that are found in alcohol that increase your risk of a hangover. Dark-colored drinks (such as red wine, bourbon, and rum) have higher levels of congeners and should be avoided as often as possible.

    · Drink lots of water before you go to bed.

    · Get plenty of rest.

This is what I read how to cure hang overs.

    Here's How:

    1. Sleep. Rest is your best friend at this point to give your body a recover. It is best to stay in bed so call in to work if you have to, tell them you have the stomach flu. You will sound so horrible on the phone they may believe you (unless they saw you at the bar, not a good idea then).

    2. Replenish your body with fruit juice and water.

    3. Avoid caffeine. A weak cup of coffee may be okay but a lot of caffeine will continue to dehydrate you, the opposite of what you want right now.

    4. Drink orange juice for Vitamin C.

    5. Drink a sports drink like Gatorade or Powerade.

    6. Eat mineral rich food like pickles or canned fish.

    7. In Poland, drinking pickle juice is a common remedy.

    8. Drink a Bloody Mary. While the popular phrase “hair of the dog that bit you” may sound logical with a shot of whiskey left in the bottle next to your bed, it’s only temporary. Try a Bloody Mary instead, while your blood is dealing with the new alcohol it is ignoring the old and in the mean time tomato juice and celery are full of vitamins. If you drank the last of the vodka make a Virgin Mary. Another spicy morning after drink option is Hair of the Dog, in which gin and hot sauce are sure to bite your hangover back.

    9. Take a shower, switching between cold and hot water.

    10. In Ireland it was said that the cure for a hangover is to bury the ailing person up to the neck in moist river sand.

    11. Try Alka Seltzer Morning Relief. One reader says that it's all that he and his wife have found that really works for them. He stumbled across this "cure" while his wife was still suffering after two days, within 15 minutes after taking the Alka Seltzer she was fine.

    12. Get some exercise. Another reader suggests doing some sort of physical activity. He writes, "In the rare case of having hangover I usually drink about 1-2 liters of water and go outside to do some exercise like mountain climbing, swimming, cycling or just about anything that keeps me sweating." It takes willpower to move like that when standing seems like a challenge, but it is a good theory.

    13. The side effects of aspirin, Tylenol and ibuprofen can be magnified when alcohol is in your system, so it is best (even though it may be the first thing you reach for) to avoid them to kill the hangover pain. Aspirin is a blood thinner, just like alcohol, and can intensify its effects and Tylenol (or acetaminophen) can cause more damage to your liver. Ibuprofen can also cause stomach bleeding. So be cautious when going for the quick relief.

    14. Watch the video: Hangover Remedies. Jonathan Stewart demonstrates how to make a blended hangover remedy. There are a more than a few ingredients so you may want to have everything organized prior to overindulging.

    15. As an antidote, one reader takes a little extra multi B vitamin and drinks a lot of water before going to sleep.

Need faster relief? Pain relievers such as aspirin, ibuprofen and acetaminophen all can stave off hangover headaches. But they can also do a number on your liver when mixed with alcohol--especially those with acetaminophen, such as Tylenol and Excedrin.

drink higher quality alcohol and you will be less hungover or not hungover at all, higher quality alcohol is filtered better and has fewer hangover causing toxins...in short, don't get drunk off of cheap booze and you will be fine.

Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.
