I expect it to fix exactly what it says its going to fix, as well as rectify some performance issues. But its not going to turn this 2 week old MMO into a 5 year old post-launch polished MMO experience.
Number 4 is exactly what is going to happen. Silly poll is silly.

It will fix some problems nobody care for, and will leave every problem that cause people to leave the game
But maybe there will be a good suprise and the game will be playable after patch. Not even considering the game is near to polished after the patch, just playable. But I dont really believe in that. I dont even think I will download the patch. I will just take a look at the forum and see all the "what, this was the patch?" Threads and leave it again.
We all know what will happen!
