IMHO, i don't care if he was a CCP dev some years ago... The interesting thing IMO is the fact he is an really experienced player, which means we'll probably see him make some interesting proposition to CCP. But, the fact he was part of CCP before would be a great advantage for the other CSM members, since they will have some more knowledge of CCP organisation, through Seleene experience as a ex-dev.

I'm french, that's why I sometimes mis-use or mis-spell some words... Please don't blame me.

Seleene will always remind me of Killer08's videos. His/her forum moderation was usually hiliarous too. I would vote for the best qualified candidate. I voted for Mynxee b/c she made the most sense to my playstyle. Players will vote with what benefits THEM the most, not necessarily who would be best for the whole group.

Do you really feel that the CSM is making a huge difference? I think the concept is ground breaking, but as to how much it really changes policy...is debatable.

Again, more reasons to play this game.

Playing: BF4/BF:Hardline, Subnautica 7 days to die
    Hiatus: EvE
    Waiting on: World of Darkness(sigh)
Interested in: better games in general

QFT.  Pretty much how I feel.  And to the OP:  My two cents are that it's not a bad thing.

well the fact that when he left CCP he was like "f**k CCP" if he come up whit really good and solid reasons/arguments on CSM+CCP meetings CCP can put some resistance to that.

Wasn't Abathur the one responsible for the stupidly over buffed super carriers? If it is the same guy he wont get my vote on that basis alone because that shows his ideas are not in the best interest for the game.

Whether he was a dev or not doesn't matter much but it could be either an advantage or disadvantage, if he parted on good terms from CCP being buddies with the devs would help communication but if he parted on bad terms there might be the possibility of bad feelings between him and certain devs.

    Currently playing:

EVE online (Ruining low sec one hotdrop at a time)

    Gravity Rush,
    Dishonoured: The Knife of Dunwall.

    (Waiting for) Metro: Last Light,
    Company of Heroes II.

His side of the story is that only half of the stuff that he wanted was included in Dominion, and that's what caused the imbalance.

Not just his side. If you followed the situation closely, you could see when the original balancing effort was derailed by CCP WhiteNose and his design delusions.
