then you can say WoW's boring, but by then new content would have come already!
Not bored with WoW per-say, just bored with the same old same of going through the grind for levels. Guess I am just tired of endlessly fighting mobs, players and doing Fed-Ex quests. The crafting system in WoW is laughable as well, so I don't include that in the fun factor of WoW. There is no housing or guild houses, so there is really no sense of community.
I admit WoW does it easy and fun those 3 things but I done that for 7 years in other games. I need new blood in the MMORPG field and while WoW may be fun for the first time players and others who are not yet burnt out on the grind, it really falls short for players like myself.
I am glad you are passionated about WoW, and in a way I am jealous of you because I just don't get that same joy I once did playing MMORPGs.
Closest thing to that feeling was CoH for me, but even that was short-lived as it was even more limiting then WoW.
cant find a team for any of that shit, thx for trying, but youve failed
Long live World of Dungeons.
All the dungeons are the same anyways.. I dont really see a big difference.
The game is great fun in the beginning.. but you get so bored out of your skull you just want to rip your hair out and choke yourself with it..
Ive been playing since Release now and before that I played in beta. Yes there are many different dungeons to try out and alot of different area's to see and quest in. But one of the main problems if you ask me is that 50% of em look like each other. Take dungeons for an example, they dont look like each other literally, well some might want to say that, but I dont think so, It's the hole idea behind em and the way it works and the job you have in there that are exactly the same everytime.
Ive played all the races and all the classes and everytime I get really really bored I just close it and give it a break, That'a'way I'll fell like playing again like 2 hours later or maybe the next day. Also trying out like you wrote new servers and stuff like that is a good idea, only problem is people seem to want to be on the ones where all their friends are, Like IRL friends they've decided to play with from the beginning. But still it's actually kinda fun playing on a new server where you dont know any and meet knew people and start questing with them and that way learn em to know, and wolla you have a new friend
Anyway to be honest I think it's a matter of taste, Some plays it all day long for several hours and still dont get bothered and some get's bored after few hours. We are human's and we are all different that's life

Lol, I don't think he's the one that failed.
I've had no issues finding groups and I'm one of those dreaded hunters, lol. Seriously, it doesn't take much effort to find groups these days or joining a guild.
I like the occasional instance raid, but I'm more into PvP. Thankfully, WoW has one of the better systems available.

Oh, cruel fate, to be thusly boned. Ask not for whom the bone bones. It bones for thee.
I didn't get bored of WoW, i just got sick of grinding in general. That why i went to GW partly. I'm hopeing that there wil lbe an option eventually to just make a high level character on pvp servers seeing how difficult it is to grind on one with 3000 rogues trying to gank you as soon as you leave a town.

Brick where did you get that hand gernade?
don´t worry u wotn get bored, and after battlegrounds goes relesed WoW will Pw0n that gay GW
Fanboyism at its best, I agree. However, I also agree that Guildwars sucks a butt.
With GuildWars:
1) You start out with a crappy fire wand, axe, sword, or other weapon. You kill easy monsters until you get enough gold and loot to get a good fire wand, axe, sword, or other weapon.
2) You have a good fire wand, axe, sword, or other weapon. You kill tougher monsters that are a higher level than easy monsters until you get enough gold and loot to get a uber fire wand, axe, sword, or other weapon.
3) You have a uber fire wand, axe, sword, or other weapon. You kill tougher monsters that are a higher level than tough monsters until you go to ebay and sell the game.
In between you can do "go fetch" missions to break up the monster killing...
Wow is fun up to about level 35, then its just boringfest. I tried battlegrounds on the second test server and the "epic battles" consist of 10 vs 10 in a CTF fight.
And as for Alterac valley.....yeah 40 vs 40 is just soooooo epic.
Please, battlegrounds just gives simpletons something to do whilst the real big battles take place on games like DAoC (I do not play it, so i am no fan boy)
WoW does nothing new, you find what you want from a mmorpg expect for one thing - involvement, its a PVP game.
Sorry, but there are no über weapons in GW silly, that's WoW.
Molten Core is boring.
When you hit level 60 and complete all quests, all left is either PvP (currently not balanced) or do Molten Core for EPIC sets or do Onyxia. You are about to ask what is wrong with Molten Core?
As you all know it's almost imposible to kill any boss if you are in pickup(random people from different guilds) raid or possible but it will take you 6-8 hours to kill 1 boss. 1 boss?! On average 1 boss drops 2 epics so 2 players out of 45(!) are going to get what they want.
Now here what happens in regular Molten Core guild raid. We can kill about 3+ bosses in 6-8 hours if everything goes smoothly and recieve around 7 epics. That means only 6-7 players will recieve epics and other will be waiting for another week of luck or no luck. Now I'm asking myself question is it worth it?
First of all it's boring. You don't even feel any role (I'm playing priest/warrior) since you basically standing there and clicking on same 2 buttons over and over again for 7 HOURS! Secondary, I understand if I was clicking all that time for some reward BUT probability that you going to get anything is very low.
Guess what? Blizzard WoW dev team going to do nothing about it. why? because they promissed so much that they confused what better to do. Remember they promissed Battlegraunds, Hero classes, Housing? And that what they are doing right now out of your monthly fee, out of your pocket.
I completly understand that it's epic set items and it should be hard to get epic but is it really compares afford and time spent to get reward. It takes tons of afford and time to get full epic set even in a good organized guild. Don't even waste your time in pickup raid. It may take you 4+ months of repetive going on every Molten Core raid to get full epic set.
Here is what you going to do when you hit 60 and complete all quests:
day 1, Molten Core
day 2, Molten Core
day 3 Onyxia
day 4 world bosses (most people don't even want to waste time on these since the loot tabe is very bad)
day 5 pvp (since I'm not big a fan of WoW pvp, only thing I do is help other to do Scholo, Strath and Spire but it gets boring really fast when you done it 50+ times )
day 6 pvp
day 7 pvp
repeat another 4 months when you get all you wanted.
Then what? I guess it would be game over.
i think overall it comes down to who likes what, some people like wow more then others and some people just plainly hated after lvl 3 it all comes down to wha the person whants and likes, im sure that every one would rather play GW then wow i mean guild wars is just so damn awasome sheesh with them unable to jump, or even do anything for that but hey! they graphics are sweeet eh look how about every just stops complaining about how this game is boring and how this game is boring that is all this forum is made up of is COMPLAINTES u dont like the game leav it, you dont have to come here and say how boring the game is and fast it gets boring and were it gets boring what lvl what % what time of the day who cares no one sheeesh STOP COMPLAINING PLZZZZ sounds like little girls that cant fined what they want. games get boring if you make them boring.
I played straight for about a week and didnt get bored once (Wife fought hard to get me away from it) I cant say that Im bored yet but Im not playing as much as I was. Maybe an hour or two a week now. Still think the game is amazing just need to get into it again I guess.
----------------------
I have played many MMOs and WoW is one of the best ones yet. The crafting system is ok. PVP is decent. and the quests are pretty cool. The community is great and the graphics are excellent. Some say the graphics are cartoony. Well it is made to look like Warcraft and they did a fantastic job. I also like the minimal zoning. I think a lot of the people who get bored are the ones who try to lvl as fast as they can or they play 10 hours a day. WoW is going to be my MMO for a while. I am lvl 25 alliance right now. At some point I am going to create a horde character. By the time I get my horde character I am sure Blizzard will come out with a major expansion (most MMOs do). Death to Horde! (at least for now)
