well, lets put it this way. if you see me 1 thousand miles close to that (or any game of its kind) you have my express permission to shoot me.

This games is beyond addicting. This is the only game after trying about 50 different MMOs that has caught my attention. The only reason: theres a billion things to do and no where enough time to do it. I barely follow the main quest line or kill x amount of creatures to turn in because I'm running around doing everything else. Trade runs, carnivals, trial of gods, instances, botany and crafting, hunting world bosses etc. I have to say, the content is comparable to EQ2 and yes even WoW. The learning curve is steep since its too immersive. Additcion.

I got bored after having to do the same quest 10 times to finish another, does that says anything?
It's a PWE game - play one and you played all of their games.
And this is no praising at all.
Edit: but to answer the question, yes, i played it out of boredom up to 37 as a MM and quitted. The game resembles BoI with all the events going on and art direction but like all CS PWE games, it gets old fast depending only on the player tolerance.
I tried it. The music and the game play kept making me sleepy.

i've played up to level 15 or something. the graphics are not impressive imo. the only thing that stands out is the vampire. the quests are quite boring and i run out of mana fast. i don't think i'll play it anymore. can't stand the feeling of regret when i've realised that my time on a f2p was wasted when the cash shop becomes game breaking.
I am playing on the German Dyos server, add Sadpire (Vampire class of course)!
Personally this game is starting to affect my WoW playtime and subscription ...... maybe 10 Euros saved for cancelling WoW soon
I do not get the comments on grinding and cash shop, never had to do any of either and I think the graphics are pretty good but then I am a female vampire

Yea, you are doing it wrong. That was the Life in the Harbor quest you did, which is only recommended for the rep grinding (which is necessary to get mounts).

One good thing about this game, it cures insomnia.

hes not comparing the graphics, he's saying that forsaken world is optimized horribly. It's graphics are horrible, and still runs worse than crysis 2 for him(which is hyberpole probably)
The game is fine, join a guild...plenty of people play it.
Graphically, I don't have the problem as many of the other seem to have. It looks fine, fluid effects, impressive little to no lag in high traffic areas.
It's pretty generic like most fantasy stuffs nowadays, but enjoyable enough with it's lore, races, and classes.
my only problem with it, is i found there is very little loot.
i like enemies to drop stuff. even if it's just junk
