Hello,

We are currently recruiting for Goofy Goobers.

We are a guild under a new name going into Rift, though there is a core group of us that have been longtime friends, and have a combined experience in such games as Guild Wars, Lotro, City of Heroes, Warhammer and Darkfall. We are looking to play on a PvP server (most likely guardian side, still being discussed), though we are very very interested in PvE elements of the game, and will be leading PvE activities. We are looking for players who don't have tons of time to play, but utilize their time well. I want quality, not quantity (though I'll take both if you can spare!). We are Central/Eastern time zone, but will accept anyone. We are currently playing on the Briarcliff Beta Server on the Defiant faction, but will be going gaurdian for release.

Also, I'm looking for mature members. We like to joke and have fun, but I don't want jerks. Does this sound appealing?

As posted above, I'm looking for active members. This means that members need to participate in conversation, events and other. Time is not a requirement. When your on, you are espected to be active, for hoever long you have time to play. This is not to say that we do not have members that have larger playtimes.

Along with that, vent is a requirement, as that is mostly the largest and easiest form of participation. We need member who can log into vent and use the /invite button. You do not need to be an officer to pull a group together for instance/warfront (too many guilds seem to think that).

What I do not want to see is a member join our guild, not really initiate themselves on forums vent (which ultimatly means they really don't know much of anyone), come out and get slaughtered in world pvp, bitch a while, and then leave. I will provide a stupid amount of options for our members, as well as push supporting guild members to the extreme. If you are not getting assistance or playing with the guild, it will be no ones fault except for your own

As far as drama/maturity... you can assume what I'm looking for

I have a vent and can get in vent from time to time. I share a room with my girl and my 1.5 year old daughter, so if they are trying to sleep I can't be noisy. SO at nite time I may just be able to listen. The baby wakes up prettty easily and that wakes up my girl. Another thing, I don't want some vent environment where members are cutting one another down. I have been in guilds where that has happened.

So, vent is fine with me with certain limitations. Also, is this clan looking to be the best at what they do? That is what I am looking for.

I understand family, and that is not a problem Also, our vent is not like that. While we may joke around (sometimes with adult language), we will not be verbally abusing each other, nor am I interested in seeing douchy members.

As far as being the best in what we do... this is one of the larger reasons why I try to have a smaller guild. I want to be able to spend time with each member, learn the game, and be successfull. I would rather throw skill at probem instead of throwing numbers at it (this includes world pvp! It should be fun running around with a 5-10 man team some nights )

Hey guys! We are still looking for more people to join our guild. So far we have around fifteen-ish people, but we would like to double that! Just to reiterate what Damarus said, we are a PvP oriented guild, but will focus on PvE as well.

When I say we "focus" on PvE, I do not mean we are "care-bear PvPers", I mean we will have PvE events. This could range from Dungeon runs to Rift Raiding, to even taking Screenshots and having a little contest.

On to the PvP portion. We plan to do both Warfronts and WPvP(World PvP). We will either break into a Raid and take over enemy Wardstones, our break into smaller groups in just cause havoc throughout the zone.

In conclusion, we are looking for down to earth people that don't get to upset about the game, but do take it somewhat serious. If you aren't sure if this guild is for you, just come hang out with us in Vent, and see what you think!

PS: We accept bi French girls (if you were in this guild, you would understand this inside joke)

I have been on Vent with these guys many of times, its always a good enviroment to be in lots of fun. I havent yet seen any Drama. We work very smoothly in the vent so that we can execute events such as pvp with great results without all the useless yelling and arguing.

The number is a little bit higher, more towards 20, but very correct. 35ish people Is a great number to maintain the small and personal feel and have the chance to works closley with others to make a very effective group, without being too large.

It depends on who is asking, but usually not.

While many may not find the name attractive.. I don't much care based on what the standard of guild names are. Most tend to go with your medium serious "assassins of myst" or "lords of dead" when in reality its really just a group of socialy awkward people behind their. pc's. The only thing you have assassinated little buddy, is that empty bad of cheetos by you!

Most people see these names and give no thought...
