Looking for a free game for LOW END laptop

Okay, like two days ago my computer took a giant dump and it will take me 1-2+ months to repair (money sucks). Anyways I am looking for a free to play game that works well on a low end Laptop.

I hate item malls with game breaking items. I am talking like HP potions. Perma increase stats. Armor/weapons that are better than what I can get by putting into my personal hours into the game. I don't mind item malls but I really prefer them to be purely cosmetic i.e League of Legends. In LoL you can buy Champions faster with RP but you can still farm up IP to get the same champion.

It doesn't neccessarily have to be an MMORPG. It can be a FPS or what have you but I love fluid combat systems and the feeling like I am actually contributing to the combat. (Runescape feels like I can attack someone and AFK and come back and the result would be the same if I stayed or left.)

I LOVE PVP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    You'll be lucky to run any mmo outside runescape well on that laptop.

    It's not free but you could probably run FFXI on low, the old content anyway. IDK if abyssea ups the ante.

    Spec'ing properly is a gateway drug.
    12 Million People have been meter spammed in heroics.

    You could probably run Istaria.

    F2P as human, great community (but small) and a large worl to explore.

    Yup.  It's owned and run by a new company now...and they actually seem to care about the game.

    I have a free account and log in every once in awhile.  Part of me still loves that game.
