Every week, sometimes every day we get news, interviews, gametests, the complete shakahalla arround a game, that is in full shape and shining bright over all his players.
Well, its not playable at the moment, so all these news and stuff felt a little like we can take part in something, that we never can touch for real.
The game is done already, when its released, as we know everything about it already, thru some hollow hands, that were allowed, touching it. I cannot hear it anymore ..
I also wont read the articles anymore, i dont like second hand experience.
Release it or shut up !

They are bugfixing and adding content. Even if a game is in full playable state they may need to bugfix it a lot and add alot of content.
after reading this it came to mind that maybe they are scared of releasing it with all the hype now and after the free month the low pop plague will invade...... hehehe
now seriously, i think the game is not 100% ready to release.... if the game only contains what we know already, then its still under revision if you ask me.... they better make sure the game stand up for all the hype or it will take the road DCUO took which is sad
IMO one of the biggest community beefs have been games that come out and play like crap. MOst of us would have to agree that the backlash has & should be harsh for these companys that release a game and its not finished.
In the latest threads we ahve seens Bioware tell us that the UI is still a work in progress and that they are tweaking manyt hings in the game. The backlash that would unleashed if this game comes out unpolished........ I vote they do a good job like Rift did (like the game or not it had polish at release) Do their diligance and give us a highly polished game.

What are developers supposed to do? If they release a buggy/unfinished project we QQ. Now if they decide to fix bugs and finish the project we're going to start QQing also?
I guess the developers just can't win.
They are busy right now with their paid test group, they even have dev talk from around the summit day about tattooine being to hard to their paid testers so they are having to rework some of the mobs there to make it more managable. The game will release when it is polished and playable. I for one like this as it means I won't be on for all of an hour on launch day before I see the "We are sorry but we need to take the server down for emergancy matinance" crap. I've been waiting on this game since it was first rumored to have been started by some SWG devs back in 06, and I can be patient for it to be right.
People and their sense of entitlement.... ugh it's annoying is what it is. How about wait and see before opening your mouth.
I hope to god that it's nothing like what RIFT has done as that game sucks, as for the finished article even when it comes out there will be loads of issues. There has never been and never will be a game which if finished. All games can never be balanced perfectly as it need masses of players at the same time and the only time they truely get this is when every man and his dog login for the first time after the betas have finished.
Does not matter how many times you ask people to stress test even if they keep the masses out of beta until a week before they go live it will still have major problems. MMO's are evolving beasts and always need tweeking daily for the first 6 months or so as they never have the time to do what they want and they never get stuff out they want on retail as they are always up against it and never allow the time it really needs.
I don't care which company it is, It's a fact of the MMO world and anyone out there really thinks this will be any different than the rest that's preseaded this are just kidding your self.
Sadly this will not be the all singing and dancing wow killer that everyone is expecting and seriously if you think it will be then you are in for a shock. They have never ever made an MMO before and for them to do this and get it right first time is a BIG ask. Could they do this, maybe. Will they do this, I personally doubt it, but that's just my opinion.

BioWare know what they are doing and if you want a quality game, just be patient and you will get it when the time is right.
I cannot wait for this game to be released and have been waiting since it was just a mere rumour over 6 or 7 years ago, and if i've waited this long, what's another 6 months going be.
Delayed and perfect > rushed and buggy.
I'm patiently awaiting the game, but I won't lie when I say... if the game doesn't launch this year. I will be very disappointed.
That said, I'd like a complete game, and it seems like so much of the game is up and moving and ready to play, but there are still some major balancing issues and bugs that need to be worked out. I don't think they will be able to squash all of the bugs and still hit the launch window, but I don't doubt that the game will launch in one of the smoothest states we've ever seen even if they launch it 4 months down the line.

Seriously, if you like beef, and it is shown to you, day by day, and the butcher said "ouh, we need here less fat, there more color" then you still like beef, but dont have it anyways.
They show me that lot of this title, that im loosing my interrests before it is released.
I already refuse to watch the videos, because i want finally bite into that beef.
Its nice, that you all welcome the show and enjoy every new detail that comes out ... or better you enjoy the fact, that there is a new detail coming out, as you sadly cannot "use" it, lol.

its not complete, they have yet to talk about races, starting areas, class progession for classes other than jedi knight and sith warrior, pvp, if there will be pvp and pve only servers. the list is endless if you think what they have released is the full game then you are seriously mistaken. even SWG when released for Stage 1 Closed Beta had more info.
