    I believe this is another version of Regnum Online.

    It is, just play Regnum Online if your new to the game, has bigger community, been out for a long time, it's a pretty nice game.

    Im confused.. Are they changing the name completely? Just added a new website that routes basically to the Regnum one? I mean, this is probably a great move to get the word out and noticed I am just a litle confused on what game I am actually playing..

    I downloaded the client and was taken to Regnum Onlines website, when it updated though it said Realms Online..

    Same game right? They just going to consolidate into Game Sambo's Realms Online site?

    Basically, GameSamba picked up the publishing rights to Regnum Online for North America, meaning that there is now a NA server where American and Canadian players will automatically be funneled into upon registration. The good news is that this may bring new life into the game as GameSamba has already started an advertising push and has plans to make some unnanounced changes (publisher changes typically involve translation and cash shop adjustments, so I wouldn't get too excited). The bad part is that this is probably the final nail in the Horus coffin, which is the original English speaking server for the game, since it will likely not have nearly as many new players registering.

    This is pretty much a free version of DAoC but done a little different its a got game and players really well on most systems. There is a RvRvR in this game and it can get kinda crazy at times when there's 300  against  200 against 250 but I have only seen this a couple of times on the real version Regnum.

    Horus has been dead for some time. Every since the three major guilds left Horus the server has been on life support. RvRvR has really dropped off compared to what it use to be.

     I was thinking about trying Regnum recently, but apparently it is pretty hard to get into and enjoy if you're just starting, since it will take you quite awhile before you can even bother participating in the main focus of it- which is the faction PvP territory/relic capturing.

     So this new version may actually be a blessing for those of us just starting out.

     Oh and, thx for the free mount :D~

    Since the mount there states it's only a 30day one, I would assume the one given away here is too :( Hate time sensitive freebies, let alone mounts that aren't really useful until you are weeks/months into a game, oh well though.

      After playing Realms Online for a bit and talking to Regnum players checking it out, it seems any new NA players are auto-directed to this new version's server.

     So in short, playing Regnum as a NA player is impossible now (unless you already have a character there).

     Does not sound good for the Regnum's Horus(NA) server, apparently it was already in rough shape, and with no new players able to join it's only a matter of time.

    I live in Europe, so even if this is the US version....do you think I will have a better time here?

     

    I mean, even if the US play on the day when it is night here....will I still find more players?

     

    Not sure if I should take Regnum Online or Realms Online.

    Mount is only a 30-day rental, hardly worth the effort, they just want you to get into the game and buy a more permanent one.
