Actually I should give WoW honorable mention for being an awesome product.
If the community wasn't absolutely the worst, it would have placed higher than #4.
We need more sci fi games out there. Sick of fairies and elves. Need more guns, cybercrime, nuclear fallout, robots, spaceships, and no SWG does not qualify as sci fi.
If you like Mechwarrior, I highly recommend Planetside, its basically mechwarrior now.
AC1 was awesome, right now its just a bot operating system.
----------------Signature------------------ Can someone please make me a sig. I would like it to have something to do with an eagle(the bird) Somewhere near the eagle can you put the words "Global Defense Initiative". Could you also have the line "If you can't buff up, don't step up!". Thanks!
1) EVE online(by far the best I have played simply because of the longetivity and scope of things to do/learn) 2) CoH(not because of how in depth, but because its very simplitistic to go in and kick some ass quickly. Very fast paced and great char customization) 3)Have played almost every major MMORPG to some extent and have yet to put on a number 3.
I guess some honorable mentions for keeping me interested for around 2 months would go to EQ2, WoW and possibly Guild Wars.

1) Planetside - The game had countless bugs, lots of problems, frequent nerfs, and perhaps the worst expansion pack in history. I've played it since release, and I still love every second of the game. I pray someday there will be a sequel.
2) Final Fantasy 11 - I can understand why so many people hate it, but of all the MMO's I've played, I enjoyed this game's community the most. The game wasn't the best, and the language barrier can be frustrating, but it's the only game I sacrificed sleep and food to play with my friends, ever. Plus, it panders to the most hardcore levelers, which I like a lot
3) City of Heroes - This was quite possibly the most unique MMO I've ever played. It was rather lacking in content initially, but the customization options, and the fact I can create the Superhero I always wanted and then play as him will always leave me with some good memories. I cannot wait for City of Villains
Honorable Mention: Anarchy Online. This was my first MMO, so naturally it has to be mentioned. Ridiculous amount of bugs, kind of choppy gameplay, but there was so much to do, and I had many good times despite all the problems.
Waiting for something fresh to arrive on the MMO scene...

Everquest (Played for less than a year, but was interesting)
