Link Realms will never succeed because of 3 major reasons>
1. Corruptness
2. They hardly do any work.. and the work they do are on useless things.. And they never finish the work they do before moving on to next useless project. So even if they are working on something we will never see it. What have they been doing last half year? A handful of newbie tutorial quests that still are bugged and not working correctly.
3. DEVs dont care about PvP. Only favor carebears.
All these posts made me want to try this game. Anyone knows how to get an account ?
Technically they're still in beta, so....you have to go to the website on a day where it says they are "open" for new accounts. They do this pretty regularly so just keep checking back. There are probably other ways to get in, like knowing someone who is currently playing (sorry, I haven't been lately due to family stuff), but maybe you'll run into someone on here that can help you get in. Otherwise just keep checking the site. When it's open for registration, you just register and are able to download....easy breezy.
EDIT: Says beta accounts are available right now. At the top of the page in small letters is says "Account Create." Do that. And you can do it while you're downloading the game, I believe. So here's your all-in-one page for getting started:

I don't know anything about this game. I may get bored with it after a short while, who knows. But I never understood people like you...who fight a crusade againts games they don't like. If you don't like it then fine...forget it. Why are you here and trying to scare people away ? Its free anyway, no one would lose anything by trying it.
According to your posts your main problem is the lack of PvP. This is a huge plus for me. I'm as carebear as you can get so actually it was your post which got me interested in the game, lol.

Yeah, I'm not sure where the negativity is coming from. This is a very impressive mmorpg and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind playing in an isometric view. The Linkrealms map editor alone is worth downloading just to play around with it.
Also, as just1opinion mentioned, you can get into the beta as we speak. It's not often that the beta status reads: "available".
"Mr. Rothstein, your people never will understand... the way it works out here. You're all just our guests. But you act like you're at home. Let me tell you something, partner. You ain't home. But that's where we're gonna send you if it harelips the governor." - Pat Webb

I do it because I hate the devs for being so stupid and ruining the chances of a mmorpg that had amazing potential.
If they wasnt so corrupt and openly admited that their are retards then I could live without giving them their truthful reviews.
There's no reason to play this game, It's like some other guy said, 99% trammel.. err safe zone.
It takes them half a year to create and add a one single dungeon to the game which is on their top priority list.. That tells you all you need to know about their developing speed.
And this game does NOT have full loot. There's only a few things droppable on death and they are hardly worth even picking up. Combat system is a bad clone of UO without fizzles and a ton of lag delayment especially in movement.
DEVs have also given out really amazing and crazy unfair items to the old vets. They had planned on whiping all those items before implementing their cash shop but for some reason they didn't and then it was too late for them (in their own view) to remove all those unfair rares from the vets.
This game has no open pvp. PvP is done in PvP zones.. which consists right now of one PvP dungeon and 1 PvP Instance that you can have tournaments in and place bets.
The game world is split up in zones aka realms. Players can rent realms for irl cash but there's not much point in owning one except using it as extra storage space and farming. You can set it to PvP enabled but it's only the center of the realm that's PvP enabled, So if someone is stance on the border he's safe. Also while he's inside your realm all he have to do is press the "leave realm" button to instantly teleport to safety outside the PvP enabled area.
Made this account just to show my hate for the game.. It had amazing potential but these DEVs are hopeless.
So lets all wait for the next game to try conquer the niche sandbox-full-loot-open-pvp loving playerbase and then fail.
I wouldn't try this game for this feedback. I tried it a while ago, but if what he posts is true. . .
1. Lack of attention to content and very sluggish content fixes or implementation.
2. No open-world balanced PvP, faction implementation, purpose or value to fight for something.
3. Instanced PvP.
4. Trash loot-drop on PvP victories.
5. Trammel-like game.
6. Questionable combat system.
7. Heavy PvE.
. . .it's a PvE pseudo-sandboxy lobby-system RPG. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I've had enough of those type of inorganic instanced games.

Apart of #1 all the rest sound great to me. Probably it was designed like that, if you don't like the basic design then the game is not for you.

More than a supposed mediocre mmorpg, at best, yes.
They make it look so similar to UO and I mean take a look at the trailer which is first thing you see one their site.
I think everyone expects it to be like UO, Especially when all advertising for the game says FULL LOOT, OPEN PVP.. just because they delete all reviews saying the truth.
I have been an ingame tester for a while now and I have to say its quite unique. The in-game animations are quite amazing. Also from talking to the other testers the official release is unknown for right now. There is apparetly three developers working on it right now, but according to the long term testers the devs have been working around the clock. There is a very small select group of individuals who play. Theres about 8 people on when I play on average. I have seen personally up to 16 on. The community of testers who have stuck with it is very close, which is cool. Some of whom have been there since the very beginning and are very friendly and helpful. I dont have a lot of time to play, but i do get on to talk to people.
*something I found to be important, for people wanting to get in the beta for the sandbox features: YOU HAVE TO PAY $10 PER MONTH FOR A HOUSE YOU CREATE.
tha game is released. Sure its technically in open beta with NDA.
But it's just because the game sucks and they need the open beta as an excuse and they need the NDA to delete all truthful reviews about the game.
The game is NEVER EVER going to come out of that open beta thing, Because they dont work. Your stupid if you believe them.
Facts speak louder than words. Just look at how little they actually implement into the game every half year.
And your average number is also bs. 8 people on (even at peak hour) is quite a rare sight. The real average number is more like 3 or 4. And for it to be 16 players on... happens one time per year.

Most of these posts don't even make any sense.
Either they are being written in such haste that the posters are missing complete sentences or just too young to actually get their message across.
Also the amount of low count posters is a bit of a giveaway when your trying to sift through the troll posts.
