Because I think the turrets will be way over-used in PvP And in the Dynamic Event areas where you aattack groups of monsters and there are about 10 turrets ganking peoples kills.

Turrets will most likely do very minimal damage. And most of the turrets are simply for conditions it seems anyway. I suspect they'll be easy to kill in pvp also.

Dynamic Events are purely cooperative. There's no tagging mobs or killstealing.

And they already told us that just one of each type of turrets gonna be accepted in ground.. So, we are not going to see 10 Bullet Turrets at the same time...
so, probably we`re going to see 1 "bullet turret" 1 "healing turret" 1 "granade turret" 1 "flame turret"....... one of each..
I just never really enjoy warrior/fighter classes. I am sure this will be more interesting that most, but they just are not for me.
The mesmer would be my fav. But the necro is pretty awesome too.
The engineer is pretty cool too.
Okay, I love them all.

Anything melee oriented. I love physical violence in game and sometimes in rl....
So that means Warrior and thief for me and possibly guardian if they have some offensive capabilities.
What I dislike, any caster...all casters! So no Necro or Elementalist or even mesmer.
My wife will only play a ranger, that I know is a fact, it happens in every game....who has a pet and ranged abilities?...ranger!
Edit:
OK, just saw the engineer video...the pistol and shield engineer looks cool!! I might bend my rules to play that. It would be nice if I played that engineer (pistol and shield) while my wife plays the pistol and sword thief.
I always play the stealthy characters. Though I am rather intrigued by the guardian.

Favorite: Guardian / Warrior. ( I always play a sword/shield handler since im such a fool for swords) Never been the guy that loves a ranged class.
Least favorite: I like all of the proffesions, but the one i like the least is the Engineer. To me it seems very uninspired and quite booring, but i hope Anet can prove me wrong when i play the game for the first time!, and i seriously doubt that my opinion on the Engineer will be the same when i see a demo of him in gameplay. For now, i just cant see it work.
My son. The day you were born the very staff of Blizzard whispered the name, profit.
Favorite class: Warrior- I always play as warrior/rogue/unarmed type in RPG and MMO. Basically a martial class and the most martial class in GW2 seems like the Warrior.
Least Favorite: Engineer- Don't really like involving technology for a pure fantasy world. And the video skills made me really MEH, while all the other professions are more interesting.
Also don't like magic classes. (Generally, not just GW2)
Played: SWG-FFXI-EQ2-Aion
Anticipated in order of Hype: ArcheAge GW2 TERA SWTOR
Not enough info, but looks promising: Blade & Soul

Why Engineer?

Eng is my fav. All the reast are tied for least favorite
Favorite: Engineer, because I called it way back in November (even said it would have medic/chiurgeon skills) after reading the second novel.
Favorites for other reasons: Asura Melee Ranger, Sylari Sword/pistol Thief, Offense only Human Guardian.
Least favorite: Mesmer, because we all know the profession is in, yet Anet won't spill the details yet -_-

WTF? No subscription fee?

1 ranger
2 warrior
3 mesmer ^^
4 thief
5 necromancer
6 elementalist
7 guardian
8 engineer ?_?
It's just one step from the sublime to the ridiculous.

The skills movies don't really matter to me.
Least favourite class: Warrior. I can't stand the low energy pool they have
Favourite: Ele/Necro/Mesmer (can't pick one ^^)
