I am currently playing for free but have not really seen many people. I am on the first planet doing the 101 missions. It probably just could be cause of the planet but am just curious how this game is doing if anyone has any input.
Also, is there dungeons and such in this game?

If you are in the beginner area there wont be many people since its a one time spot. Once you leave there you cant go back so none of the normal players will be there.
Once you are done with the introductory missions (they arent mandatory) you can leave the beginner area and go to Port Atlantas and begin your real adventure. There are more missions there as well as lots of players doing similar things, there is a shopping mall as well as other sights of interest in that area.
Once you have played a few days you should try and get to Twin Peaks which is the unoffical trade capitol of planet Calypso.
You can usually ask questions around Port Atlantas or Twin Peaks and someone will help out, lots of helpful people in this game.
If you have any more questions feel free to ask I check in on this forum every few days, or on the entropia specific forums daily.

Playing with Real Money: Colonizing Virtual Worlds
I happened to make it to Port Atlantis but have yet to play since.
But, this all sounds good. Thank you!
There are quite a few players but impossible to say how many exactly, as they may dwell in
- Planet Calypso, or on one of its two asteroids
- Rocktropia
- Next Island
- Planet Arcadia
Many that mine actively maybe not seen for weeks near central hubs Or hunters that hunt a lot, like me, may just briefly visit a shop container and head back to wilderness to their favourite hunting spot. And the continents are really very large, so it may sometimes look like sparsely populated. But at least judging by the auction, where there are always over 1000 pages of items sold, that is not the case.
Hey Torschen,
Thank you for the response!
