Seems something is going wrong with thier billing and most people are getting double and tripple billed or billed and do not have a current account.

Make sure to check your bank accounts, not just e-mail. I recieved 2 e-mails at slightly different times saying I was billed, yet only one transaction occured. So, check your money itself before sending in a support ticket.

Reminds me of the Warhammer fiasco awhile back. People put up with a lot of crap from a game company, but once you start messing with their bank accounts it becomes very serious business.
Did they take the billing in-house now (to save money)? If so.. it would explain much. Rule #1.. never.. EVER mess around with a customer's money.

Billing problems are lousy, but they do happen. A company must act quickly in correcting the problem when it arises.
So far, the problems WAR had are several orders of magnitude worse than what we've heard about here - Mythic charged some people ~$1500 if I recall correctly.
In any event, it appears they are correcting the errors fairly quickly:

Well, just got a confirmation mail 1 minute ago saying that they confirmed I was dubblecharged and will give me a refund of the overdrawn ammount.

Any double charge will of course be solved, we have recently moved parts of our shop system that I expect causes some of these issues. It should be solved asap.

You know what the best part of this is....?
He doesn't even have the decency to apologize! That should pretty much tell you all you need to know about this guy. Most CEOs would know enough to start any statement with an apology.. explain what happened and then apologize again at the end of the message. Guess as long as the charges "will of course be solved" that's good enough in his eyes...

Ouch, with as many people who have close to no funds or minimal in their bank accounts this could cost them thousands in over draft fees they have to pay back. Glad I never sub to them, I tried the game for about 30min and uninstalled it.
At least he isn't blaming Epic.

I don't think so either. There is no sign that the people who don't complain to SV are getting their money back.
Guess they thought that the additional income would be higher than the overdraft fees, and that right before their apparent bankruptcy.. get rich or die trying.
And what kind of explanation is "we recently moved some parts of our shop system"? What parts? And how does this cause this? Nah. Not buying this story before I see a real explanation, and not getting over it before I see an appology. (So never.)

And that is what I am worried about Red Rocket how many people who are not paying attention to thier bank accounts are getting billed and how do we know they are getting reimbursed unless they make soem noise.
That question was asked 2 days ago on the forums but has been ignored so far. Actually there has been no official word except for the blurb from the CEO 2 days ago about how it would "of course" be fixed....
Maybe the CM is on vacation...

We have located an issue since the shop was moved, and should be taken care of asap. All double/trippe charges will of course be adjusted/refunded. If anyone have any issue left, please fill in a support ticket and it will be looked into asap.

Sure.. just imagine many people won;t even know they were double/triple charged until they get their bank statements in a month. By that time they fill out a support request and get their money back, but it will still show as revenue and subs for Q2...

Very worrying. It appears they tried to charge my account 3 times, but the bank blocked the 2nd and 3rd transactions.
However, I wasn't even on a recurring subscription so they shouldn't have even charged once. Raised a ticket to be pointed to refund policy. The email before the three charges in my inbox is from the previous day and explicitly tells me that I'm on a manual subscription and will need to take action to prevent an interruption to my subscription. Pointed that out to support and they ignored it. Given them another chance to reread my support ticket and see if they reply with the correct answer. If not, I'll be reporting fraud to my bank account.
Tried to reply to a guy on the official forums who wa smug because he never sets to auto-renew and so can't be charged x number of times to find out my forum privaleges have been removed. That is very dodgy. So if you're that guy and reading it, don't be so smug - get your crd details off their account system and pay via paypal or something.
I have defended this game quite a bit, but as others have said: start messing with my bank account and you've lost. I actually really like the game, but Henrik is an absolute crook. I've known that all along - it is all in his body language.
Enough is enough.
You're not alone. This seems to have been a breaking point for many others. Even those who put up with the Ninja-Billing of preorders and the non-working DVDs seem to have reach the limit of their patience.

Not only do they need to refund the erroneous charges, but they also need to potentially pay for overdraft/insufficent fee charges for players adversely affected by this. I say "potentially", because it's possible some banks may reverse those charages as part of the resolution process.

Good call by your bank, mine often calls before processing any overseas e orders. Did you ever get you money back from SV or did have to report Fraud?

While I did receive two emails about being charged, I was only actually charged once. So no need for them to give me anything back. From what I've read, this was the case for most people. I'm sure the people who were actually double-billed will be paid back (if they haven't been already).
To do otherwise would open SV to major legal ramifications.
